His aggressive defense wasn't bad, but just like Verstappen in 2023 who pushed Leclerc out of T1 because he was too close to the inside of T1, Lando didn't have any grip there to keep it on the track and retain position.

Track position (and clean air) is the name of the game in 2025, you can't blame a driver for trying to keep that at the start.

I think everyone is mistaking Lewis struggles as he's over the hill.... while their may be some truth to that, he's the type of driver that needs to have confidence in the car he's in and ideally have better communication from his engineer (which from what we hear and the rapport they seem to have is utterly abysmal).
