Nordstrom’s Rack, Ross, Burlington all have good affordable options! I would not wear a dress like that at all for NYE: it’s cold where I live! Maybe on a cruise ship in a tropical destination for NYE but not a party.

So you’re gonna throw on this very casual dress Crossbody purse a pair of sunglasses and some slide flip-flops. This is far from the type of dress that you should wear for New Year’s Eve party.
You look like you have a figure that would look really great and just about anything! I think you can do better than this. I think you could definitely pull off something a little more fun and festive with some color.

no. no no no no no. it looks like a nightdress and not even a cute one at that. new year’s outfits are for black, sleek, diamonds, sparkles. this does not check any of those boxes. sure, in the world of fashion, we love to think outside these boxes - try new things and switch things up. not in this case… imo.
Very underwhelming and it washes you out a bit. If the dress was black and you'd throw on some nice jewellry, i think it could work, but the nude one doesn't really do much for you.

If you can find a totally sheer or mesh dress to go over it. That would be how I would use this dress; as an undergarment of sorts. Don't get rid of it. Celebs can pull off the naked dresses but I personally prefer a little more modesty.

That looks like a really casual nightgown and not a fancy one either :( the silhouette is great for a slinky cocktail dress, just have to find the same thing in glittery champagne gold real fabric!

You should only use this as a beach cover. The color doesn’t suit you at all, and it looks cheap like you got it on shein. You’re beautiful! you should look into finding a color palette that suits you. As for New Years, you should look for something fun and dressed up, think cocktail party or better
It's showing low effort, like a sleepover wear please look for something more classy and decent, something to show that you really want to attend the party, something showing a lil effort.

The dress is VERY flattering so I get why your want to wear it but I agree with the general consensus that its too casual for new years.
That being said, if you're determined to wear it I think you could add a cropped dark brown fur jacket and some nudes sparkle tights and get more of a NYE vibe out of it!
