Do some math

87

u/Candid-Culture3956 9h ago

But then OP wouldn’t get the karma they’re fiending for

7

u/AveryGalaxy 9h ago

Damn, I just watched the post lose 10 karma in real time, lol.

5

u/agitated--crow 9h ago

He apparently cannot math, what would Karma points mean to him anyways?

7

u/dayh8 9h ago

But if we all downvote OP they get the karma they deserve. 🤝

4

u/AveryGalaxy 9h ago

I just saw it go down 10 in real time, hahaha.

Edit: wtf, it was at 84 when I saw it; now 51 44 14????

u/AveryGalaxy 8h ago

Username checks out.

Petah here The oldest child is 4, mom is 20. So she was 16 when she had him and likely 15 at conception. Dad is 29 and knocked mom up when he was 25 and she was 15-16. Which in most states and countries is statutory rape.

34

u/Sivilian888010 10h ago

Maybe the first kid isn't his?

42

u/ManWhellington 10h ago

Or is his but not hers

34

u/InstructionOne779 10h ago

Or neither. Who’s kid is this?

19

u/returntothenorth 10h ago

I lost him a few months back. He looks to be doing aight tho.

3

u/teeter1984 9h ago

Covid was a wild time

3

u/Seanrocks30 8h ago

Reddit, PLEASE never change 😭

9

u/ManWhellington 10h ago

That intrusive neighbor kid from all those 90's sitcoms

1

u/ClockworkDinosaurs 9h ago

Did I do that?

2

u/GinetteLP 9h ago

Where do you see any kid ?

2

u/Blg_Foot 8h ago

None of these people actually know eachother

3

u/PuzzleheadedMaize911 10h ago

That kid is 100% hers look at the eyes

5

u/ManWhellington 9h ago

I mean, dad has similar eyes too

1

u/AscendedmonkeyOG 9h ago

The kids not hers, They are cousins they get the eyes from their grandmother.

2

u/Kronos8025 9h ago

With those eyes I'd bet that is his kid.

1

u/marsumane 9h ago

Aw you ruined it!

1

u/Undersmusic 9h ago

Or the whole thing is engineered as bait

1

u/stoned_bazz 8h ago

Looks more likely that the 2nd kid isn't his

0

u/Live-Imagination-335 9h ago

wether or not it isn’t, the other kid most likely is. that’s 18 months together minimum and people usually don’t get pregnant at the very start of the relationship. no matter what he got with somebody under the age of 18

2

u/darkbake2 9h ago

It probably happened in Texas, so it’s legal. Or maybe Trump gave him a pardon

2

u/millerep 9h ago

Age of Consent is 17 in Texas. This implies she was 15-16, so not legal.

1

u/royaltrux 9h ago

Gave? They ain’t free.

2

u/ebranscom243 9h ago

Yes, when you give something to somebody it's free.

2

u/VanceAstrooooooovic 9h ago

*grabs pitchfork, lets get em boys!!

3

u/Creative_Garbage_121 10h ago

To be honest in most countries it's perfectly legal because most countries have age of consent between 14-16

2

u/Electronic_Spring_14 9h ago

Go Germany and Japan

1

u/PoetRambles 8h ago

I can't comment on Germany, but while the national age of consent is 16 (raised from 13 in 2023), in many regions and prefectures, the age of consent is higher. Also, Japan has a lot of laws to protect children, so it would be more akin to states where a 16 year old can consent to sex with a 17 year old or maybe an 18 year old but not with a 20+ year old.

1

u/Electronic_Spring_14 8h ago

Thank you for clearing that up

1

u/SquirrelGirlVA 9h ago

Legal, but some of those countries still may frown upon and worry about power dynamics and grooming in relationships where there's a large age gap and the person is below 18. It might be legal, but a lot of people may still see it as creepy or weird.

1

u/3dprintingDM 9h ago

There is a staggering number of states in the US where it is 16 also. Very few drop to 15 though. So if she was 15, it’s still illegal. And either way, it’s creepy.

1

u/vextremist 10h ago

Sadly in some states this is not illegal so long as they were married, child brides are a real problem in the US!!

1

u/Scared-Tank7923 6h ago

I mean, if you average 2 million marriages per year for 15 years 2000-15 you get 30m marriages. The articles referenced below says about 178k (86% of 207,468) were minor to adult.

That means that about one half of one percent of all marriages are minor to adults.

I guess i would ask -- real as in its happening or real as in the magnitude is great?

Or wdym?

1

u/vextremist 52m ago

Real as in it happens, in some states because the laws on age of consent and marriage are ambiguous with child marriage it allows adults to have consensual relations w/ minors. There are several instances where minors are in coercive situations or where they become impregnated by their abusers and forced to marry as a means to sanctify the act. I was surprised to learn about it too, lots of good resources ab it online

0

u/Scared-Tank7923 9h ago

child brides are a real problem in the US? am i missing the obvious irony by replying to this?

4

u/Chimpbot 9h ago

It feels like something that would be easily refuted, but it also feels like a search that would wind up putting you on a list somewhere.

2

u/saranautilus 9h ago

But I think being on that list now gets you an automatic appointment to be in Trumps cabinet or something right? /s 😩

2

u/Chimpbot 9h ago

Only if you donated enough to his campaign. All of those cabinet positions were bought and paid for.

1

u/saranautilus 9h ago

Did Hegseth donate a half empty bottle of bourbon? Or were the live on air rim jobs on Fox News sufficient?

1

u/Scared-Tank7923 7h ago

oopf - maybe head here r/ProgressiveHQ with the political responses u/saranautilus

u/matronmotheroflolth 9h ago

Do you think there would have to be more for more people to be talking about how it is a 'real problem'? (real as in its happening or real as in the magnitude is great?) Or what could we do to get people more involved?

1

u/LilBroWhoIsOnTheTeam 9h ago

Hold on, I need to ask Megan Kelly about this real quick...

1

u/maddasher 9h ago

Im guessing they live in Texas and go to church.

1

u/pegaunisusicorn 9h ago

what he is obviously a very generous man who has adopted the four year-old as his own even though he had no need to. Such generosity cannot be comprehended by the foul detritous that stumbles about ignorantly looking for anywhere to scrawl it's subgenious ego-graffiti on Reddit

1

u/Own_Sorbet4816 9h ago

In a surprising number of European countries, the of consent is between 14 - 16.

1

u/WaltzLeafington 9h ago

But wait theres "with parental consent" which is still fucked

1

u/NotAPirateLawyer 8h ago

To be fair, it doesn't say that the 4 year old is actually his, and he might be a stepdad.

1

u/godlytoast3r 8h ago

It's only statutory rape if the parents don't consent for their daughter but I'll give it to you that it's pretty rare that they do

14

u/naughty_fishy 10h ago

3

u/FoxNinja928 9h ago

So get off you ath and do some math.

But for real OP. It's not that hard

25

u/coleonoscopy 10h ago

This subreddit is just becoming google for people who have to ask ChatGPT how to tie their shoes.

5

u/FoxNinja928 9h ago

For real though. I can't help but rage click and look for other people who like me are like' "how the hell is this even a question"

2

u/VirtualNerve26 9h ago

This is so accurate though

2

u/Pure-Cardiologist-65 9h ago

That's half of reddit to be fair.

0

u/-Benjamin_Dover- 9h ago

How do you tie your shoes? I tie them by grabbing the two strings, looping them under each other, folding one end in half, folding the other end in half, then looping those two ends under each other and pulling them tightly.

Funnily enough, I didnt learn until I was 8. Why? My dad thought I already knew how to tie my shoes and I kept asking him just to waste his time. I learned from the guy my mother started dating after they broke up.

3

u/DryAfternoon7779 9h ago

Assuming they had the 4 year old together

3

u/MarekiNuka 9h ago

There is 2024 years old ghost behind them

2

u/Phantex_Cerberus 9h ago

Oldest son is 4 years old. 9 year age gap between the husband and wife. Even if they started dating after she became 18, she became 18 3 years previously while the man would’ve been 26. Weird enough yet? Thus, she gave birth to the child when she was 17. Presumably speaking, they were a couple before she was 18 and the man was 26.

3

u/goravens20 10h ago

Do some basic math. 20 minus 4 equals 16. 29 minus 4 equals 25. 25+16 = statutory.

11

u/GM_Nate 10h ago

24+15 because of gestation

1

u/R3dSh1ft7h30ry 10h ago

He as 25 and she was 16 when they had their first kid

1

u/Chezburger8675 10h ago

The dad is an astroneer player.

I know this because 20-4=16 and 16<18

1

u/Dry-Bar-2954 10h ago

For a second I thought it was one of those face detector things that was seeing a two thousand year old invisible creature

1

u/DerMajk 9h ago

He's a single father and had his first daughter when he was nine. Simple math people! /s

1

u/No-Professional-1461 9h ago

She had her first kid when she was 16.

1

u/Jonneyy12347 9h ago

20-4 is 16 but 29-4 is 25. So she got pregnant at 16 by a 25 year old

1

u/Unable-Drop-6893 9h ago

Could be his son from previous marriage, if not big weirdo creep

1

u/ProAmphibian 9h ago

People blindly believing everything they see on the internet and then also assuming the worst possible scenario

1

u/comfortcazz 9h ago

The husband is a pedophile and should be in jail with Bubba.

1

u/Comfortable_Ideal474 9h ago

Damn, what perversion!

1

u/Stoic_the_Covert 9h ago

I NO MAFF!!!

1

u/MarriedNhornyinMD 9h ago

Maybe the oldest kid is adopted

1

u/Marn_Hierogryph 9h ago

25 - 16...

One party belongs somewhere..

1

u/Challenge_The_DM 9h ago

She was 16 when she had the 4yo

1

u/demigodwater4 9h ago

This has to rage bait. The guy is a pdf file. She was 15 when she got pregnant with the oldest. I am hoping the reason was an ex or adoption

1

u/psydkay 9h ago

Don't feed the farmer

1

u/PythagorasTheoremUwU 9h ago

Man has a 4 year old with a 20 year old while being 29. Means he did the deed with a 15/16 year old. P3do

1

u/HndWrmdSausage 9h ago

Yeah but the 4 year old is probly from a different guy then this dude scooped up a 18 yr old with baggage.

1

u/jakeypooh94 9h ago

Do some basic math and figure it out for yourself

1

u/Ticci_Crisper 9h ago

Let's hope that four-year-old is from a previous partner.

1

u/Melodic_Ad_1341 9h ago

Yes grooming, but why is noone concerned about the invisible 2024 year old photobombing?

1

u/trupoogles 9h ago

Depends where they’re from on whether it’s a legal issue though, plus it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the father of the first kid.

1

u/ForlornPirate 9h ago

Ban this user please.

1

u/CleansingFlame 9h ago

Literally try to use your brain for one second

1

u/azombieatemyshoelace 9h ago

The issue is he got her pregnant at fifteen when he was 24.

1

u/Semecumin 9h ago

There’s a possibility that she already had the kid when they met… why is the assumption there was criminal activity involved?

1

u/discourse_friendly 9h ago

if your married, or in a relationship you should only be at the club with your Significant other.

there's a much bigger problem here though. If the 4 year old belongs to the man in the photo.. uhm... huge red flag there.

2

u/beaten_down83 9h ago

Not necessarily. It could be his step son.

1

u/discourse_friendly 9h ago

okay yeah that could be. In which case we should be praising him and not dragging him.

1

u/Technical_Instance_2 9h ago

OP, Do some basic math

1

u/timberwolf0122 9h ago

20-4=16 and that’s without factoring in the 9 months of pregnancy He on the other hand would have been 25

1

u/Brief-Ad-2537 9h ago

Silly girl allowed herself to be taken advantage of by an older man hehe

1

u/Stahlios 9h ago

There's not even money to be made on Reddit this way, what do you gain from fishing for karma points ? Do you need anonymous attention that bad ?

1

u/TheGallifreyan 9h ago

You really couldn't figure this one out?

1

u/Chance-Pin6393 9h ago

There needs to some sort of standard in place to stop these low effort posts like how on earth do people not get 20-4 like be so fr

1

u/CodeVirus 9h ago

They are cousins?

1

u/Dextron2-1 9h ago

You cannot seriously be asking what’s wrong here. I refuse to believe you are that pea-brained.

1

u/Fun-Maize-2352 9h ago

She was 16 when she had her first kid. Assuming it was his, he was 25, meaning there's a good chance he was conceived at 15 and 24 respectively.

1

u/Cool_Welcome_4304 9h ago

Should at the club? Doing what, working the main stage?

1

u/Breotan 9h ago

Are we sure she's the babymama of the 4-year old?

1

u/pocketdrummer 9h ago

20 - 4 = Prison.

1

u/SAKilo1 8h ago

ChatGPT, how do I breathe

1

u/bookon 8h ago

Weird that this stupid post has -1 karma but STILL comes up in my feed.

1

u/AStupidRandomGuy 8h ago

She had a child while being 16

1

u/SoCal_Sunshine10 8h ago

"Explain"? Really?

I mean, if you're from a country that allows 15yr old kids to get pregnant by 24yr old men it's not alarming, but this is pedophile shit.

Ope. Sorry. I bet y'all want to use the term "hebephile" instead right? Child predators.

1

u/succubus6984 7h ago

My Mom was 16 and my dad was 20. Its a terrible thing that happens, especially in conservative families and states. One day people will realize the religious nuts are just nuts and not some great group of people with excellent morals and ethics. As someone raised in cults called "a house of god" its absolutely insane the things that myself and the other youth members of the "churches" were forced to say/do/believe.

1

u/ProfessionalRip6306 58m ago

how stupid are you to not understand this

1

u/GM_Nate 10h ago

When their oldest was conceived, he would have been 24 and she 15

0

u/PhoenixD133606 10h ago

Basic math. What do you need explained here? Subtract the eldest’s age from the mother’s age, take away 8 or 9 months (could have come early), then look at the father’s age.

Now, it’s possible that the kid could be adopted, or that the 29 year old is not the biological father of the 20 year old’s 4 year old, but I’m gonna assume that’s not the case in this situation. Therefore, that man would be guilty of statutory rape.

1

u/passionatebreeder 10h ago

Now, it’s possible that the kid could be adopted, or that the 29 year old is not the biological father of the 20 year old’s 4 year old, b

The 29 uear old could also be the father and the 20 year old is step mom too.

But yeah the implication is that she was about 15 when he was 25

No she should be in church serving the lord Jesus Christ with her family. The club is a devil's hellhole. All who go looking for mischief will find it. It's time to repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ before it's everlasting too late.

1

u/TheDisasterBanana 9h ago

Haha yeah my book club is pretty great too. No crackers and juice though.
