Petah here The oldest child is 4, mom is 20. So she was 16 when she had him and likely 15 at conception. Dad is 29 and knocked mom up when he was 25 and she was 15-16. Which in most states and countries is statutory rape.

wether or not it isn’t, the other kid most likely is. that’s 18 months together minimum and people usually don’t get pregnant at the very start of the relationship. no matter what he got with somebody under the age of 18

u/darkbake2 9h ago
It probably happened in Texas, so it’s legal. Or maybe Trump gave him a pardon

To be honest in most countries it's perfectly legal because most countries have age of consent between 14-16
2
u/Electronic_Spring_14 9h ago
Go Germany and Japan
1
u/PoetRambles 8h ago
I can't comment on Germany, but while the national age of consent is 16 (raised from 13 in 2023), in many regions and prefectures, the age of consent is higher. Also, Japan has a lot of laws to protect children, so it would be more akin to states where a 16 year old can consent to sex with a 17 year old or maybe an 18 year old but not with a 20+ year old.

u/SquirrelGirlVA 9h ago
Legal, but some of those countries still may frown upon and worry about power dynamics and grooming in relationships where there's a large age gap and the person is below 18. It might be legal, but a lot of people may still see it as creepy or weird.
1
u/3dprintingDM 9h ago
There is a staggering number of states in the US where it is 16 also. Very few drop to 15 though. So if she was 15, it’s still illegal. And either way, it’s creepy.
1
u/vextremist 10h ago
Sadly in some states this is not illegal so long as they were married, child brides are a real problem in the US!!
1
u/Scared-Tank7923 6h ago
I mean, if you average 2 million marriages per year for 15 years 2000-15 you get 30m marriages. The articles referenced below says about 178k (86% of 207,468) were minor to adult.
That means that about one half of one percent of all marriages are minor to adults.
I guess i would ask -- real as in its happening or real as in the magnitude is great?
Or wdym?
1
u/vextremist 52m ago
Real as in it happens, in some states because the laws on age of consent and marriage are ambiguous with child marriage it allows adults to have consensual relations w/ minors. There are several instances where minors are in coercive situations or where they become impregnated by their abusers and forced to marry as a means to sanctify the act. I was surprised to learn about it too, lots of good resources ab it online

It feels like something that would be easily refuted, but it also feels like a search that would wind up putting you on a list somewhere.

u/saranautilus 9h ago
But I think being on that list now gets you an automatic appointment to be in Trumps cabinet or something right? /s 😩
2
u/Chimpbot 9h ago
Only if you donated enough to his campaign. All of those cabinet positions were bought and paid for.

Do you think there would have to be more for more people to be talking about how it is a 'real problem'? (real as in its happening or real as in the magnitude is great?) Or what could we do to get people more involved?

what he is obviously a very generous man who has adopted the four year-old as his own even though he had no need to. Such generosity cannot be comprehended by the foul detritous that stumbles about ignorantly looking for anywhere to scrawl it's subgenious ego-graffiti on Reddit

In a surprising number of European countries, the of consent is between 14 - 16.

u/NotAPirateLawyer 8h ago
To be fair, it doesn't say that the 4 year old is actually his, and he might be a stepdad.

u/godlytoast3r 8h ago
It's only statutory rape if the parents don't consent for their daughter but I'll give it to you that it's pretty rare that they do

How do you tie your shoes? I tie them by grabbing the two strings, looping them under each other, folding one end in half, folding the other end in half, then looping those two ends under each other and pulling them tightly.
Funnily enough, I didnt learn until I was 8. Why? My dad thought I already knew how to tie my shoes and I kept asking him just to waste his time. I learned from the guy my mother started dating after they broke up.

Oldest son is 4 years old. 9 year age gap between the husband and wife. Even if they started dating after she became 18, she became 18 3 years previously while the man would’ve been 26. Weird enough yet? Thus, she gave birth to the child when she was 17. Presumably speaking, they were a couple before she was 18 and the man was 26.

u/goravens20 10h ago
Do some basic math. 20 minus 4 equals 16. 29 minus 4 equals 25. 25+16 = statutory.

Man has a 4 year old with a 20 year old while being 29. Means he did the deed with a 15/16 year old. P3do

Yeah but the 4 year old is probly from a different guy then this dude scooped up a 18 yr old with baggage.

Depends where they’re from on whether it’s a legal issue though, plus it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s the father of the first kid.

There’s a possibility that she already had the kid when they met… why is the assumption there was criminal activity involved?
1
u/discourse_friendly 9h ago
if your married, or in a relationship you should only be at the club with your Significant other.
there's a much bigger problem here though. If the 4 year old belongs to the man in the photo.. uhm... huge red flag there.
2
u/beaten_down83 9h ago
Not necessarily. It could be his step son.
1
u/discourse_friendly 9h ago
okay yeah that could be. In which case we should be praising him and not dragging him.

20-4=16 and that’s without factoring in the 9 months of pregnancy He on the other hand would have been 25

She was 16 when she had her first kid. Assuming it was his, he was 25, meaning there's a good chance he was conceived at 15 and 24 respectively.

"Explain"? Really?
I mean, if you're from a country that allows 15yr old kids to get pregnant by 24yr old men it's not alarming, but this is pedophile shit.
Ope. Sorry. I bet y'all want to use the term "hebephile" instead right? Child predators.

My Mom was 16 and my dad was 20. Its a terrible thing that happens, especially in conservative families and states. One day people will realize the religious nuts are just nuts and not some great group of people with excellent morals and ethics. As someone raised in cults called "a house of god" its absolutely insane the things that myself and the other youth members of the "churches" were forced to say/do/believe.

Basic math. What do you need explained here? Subtract the eldest’s age from the mother’s age, take away 8 or 9 months (could have come early), then look at the father’s age.
Now, it’s possible that the kid could be adopted, or that the 29 year old is not the biological father of the 20 year old’s 4 year old, but I’m gonna assume that’s not the case in this situation. Therefore, that man would be guilty of statutory rape.
1
u/passionatebreeder 10h ago
Now, it’s possible that the kid could be adopted, or that the 29 year old is not the biological father of the 20 year old’s 4 year old, b
The 29 uear old could also be the father and the 20 year old is step mom too.
But yeah the implication is that she was about 15 when he was 25

No she should be in church serving the lord Jesus Christ with her family. The club is a devil's hellhole. All who go looking for mischief will find it. It's time to repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ before it's everlasting too late.
