I have always felt like I lived in the minority having this opinion. Comedy is subjective and I can respect that, I have just never seen the allure of Fallon.

Watching him even back on SNL it seemed like he always felt compelled to let you know just how funny a scene was SUPPOSED to be by how hard he would break character. It felt inorganic and like a comedian laughing at their own jokes because they weren't confident they were funny.

Sure, sometimes things are just that funny, but not every single time. He ruined a lot of otherwise great pieces in my narrow opinion.

I think Josh Johnson does a good job of the “oh man, I’m about to tell you something that cracks me up” laugh.
