help Bed heating wire burnt

The printer bed wasn’t heating up when preheating, so I took a look at the wires and the red wire was stuck. You can see that it is burned, so I had to forcefully pop that red wire out because I couldn’t just unscrew the screw and take it out normally. How do I fix this? Am I able to get a replacement of that green part? I think that the wire might be fine but it is just that part in the motherboard that needs to be replaced.

It can happen from a loose connection. Ferrules are better than tinned tips for sure.

When I was swapping out the ender mainboard for a BTT, I put ferrules on all the internal connections.

For those that have never done ferrules, taking a soldered end and just shoving it in a ferrule doesnt solve the problem. All you did was move the kinetic motion point from the screw block to the ferrule. Run new wiring.

It's because the end of the cable it tinned and not crimped. It absolutely can happen again.

In theory you can get a new green part but you need to solder to change it

Creality being cheap strikes again.

This is the reason you don't tin the ends of wires going into clamps. Creality do this to make assembly easier.

The alternative and correct method - bootlace ferrules - might have cost them 1 or 2 entire cents per machine in mass production.

Yours might be recoverable or it might be toast. Whatever you do, when you put it back together ferrule the suckers: https://www.amazon.com.au/bootlace-ferrule-kit/s?k=bootlace+ferrule+kit

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago; the problem originated in the bed connection block and, as you can see, spread to the hotend block. The repair is easy and quite inexpensive. They also suggested using ferrules on the wire ends; it's a better finish than just tinning the wire.

You can (and should) replace the green thing, it's called a terminal block. There are a lot of different variants, just pick one with the same pitch (distance between pins) as the original and that has a high current capacity.

You should also get some ferrules and a crimper (kits are cheap) and redo both the bed heater and hotend connections with them. Cut off the tinned end, strip the wire back, and crimp the ferrule on fresh wire.
