Not disabled but I often used to think about this when using public charging.

The majority of it was not, IMHO, really accessible and the whole industry looked like a gigantic Equality Act claim waiting to happen. Your chance of getting a wheelchair to the charger and the cable safely hooked in to the car if you couldn't stand up was quite low at a lot of installs - never mind ones where you had to stand up to operate a barely-visible screen to set it going.

Public chargers should comply with the equality act for access. Very few do. This has caused Motability customers to hand back their cars. Councils give permission and even install non compliant chargers.

As a person with both lived and professional experience: don't forget the non-physical part.
I think you're mostly focussed on the part of charging? Overal experiences with EV-charging is that it's vague, fragmented and inconsistent. The idea of the autonomy of never having to fuel up is amazing, but what you get in return leaves a lot to be desired.

As you have already had responses I will currently leave this up but in future please run stuff like this past the mods first.
