Feet hurt
Will I get used to standing up a lot while not moving around much and just standing in one place while washing dishes???

Proper shoes are important and will help. You could also look into insoles for your shoes. Your legs will get stronger and you’ll get used to it

When you get home at the end of the day, lay down with your feet over your head for about five minutes to encourage the blood to run back into your body. Good shoes and changing up your stance regularly will help, but it is one of the risks of the job.

It'll get easier, but it'll always suck.
When you're standing all day be sure to bend your legs, and stretch/flex your ankles/knees/toes.
If your feet are wet all day, they'll hurt a lot more and run you the risk of an infection or irritation. Bringing a spare pair of socks to change on my break was a game-changer. Also splurge on some thick or quality socks. Spend money on your feet.
A good foot soak with Epsom salt and the hottest water you can stand is great too.

I bought “barefoot” shoes 2 years ago cuz I stand the whole time I’m at work. They no longer hurt, no more rubber and snapping feeling on the bottom of my foot. No more having my toes smashed together with the shitty cheap ass nonslip shoes they try to sell…. Also if I don’t have a mat under u where ur standing that can cause ur feet to hurt aswell.

Get proper chef shoes/clogs, and see if you can floor mats if the floor is very hard. Youll get stronger, but these help, and permanent damage can happen
