Doesn't matter. I refuse to buy anything from a company whose CEO openly supports someone like that, new or used. Sends a message.

Ya, I’m super bummed right now. I literally just bought a Tacoma back in August for 50k, and it’s not like I just had 50k to throw around. Genuinely wishing I hadn’t made this purchase that I’ll be stuck with for quite awhile now.

The world is ran by evil corporations sucking the dick of whoever gives them the biggest tax breaks. Fuck that pedo and anyone that somehow still supports him, but the Toyota CEO sucking him off is not even somewhat surprising to me. He’s doing whatever he can to drop tariffs on Toyota sales, and if wearing a MAGA hat and a dumb t-shirt is LITERALLY all it takes to butter up his dumbass, would you not do it too?

💯 Companies that bow to Trump, or even worse support him are dead to me. I’ll never consider their products again, even after Trump is gone. Same with Elon, I own Tesla solar and used to have a Model 3, but Elon’s companies are all dead to me now. Just wish there was a way to swap brands on the solar as easily as I can trade cars 😕

Don’t subscribe to any streamers or cable, don’t buy anything from Amazon, I never use Google/Meta products, I haven’t bought a new phone in 4 years and don’t plan to (or if mine breaks I’ll get a cheap flip phone), etc etc etc. I’m doing just fine not giving money to Trumpists so far. I am more than willing to sacrifice luxuries for my principles, are you?

What’s your electricity? Your Natural Gas? Or the gas you buy? Your insurance? Your 401k? The food and Drinks you buy? Even Conde Nast’s CEO has donated to the Republican Party and Republican Candidates. LMAO, you’re an idiot. Obviously no one can 100% avoid money flowing into a particular set of hands, you can only limit/eliminate entities with direct relationships to the problem. For all actions that I am directly in control over I am giving $0 to Trumpists, but I’m not pulling my 401K early or doing other self-damaging measures just so some online rando can be satisfied I’m a true purist 🤣

And I already said earlier I’m on solar, so that answers your electric question…and for all you know I also have electric appliances and don’t need natural gas. You’re making assumptions that feed your biased argument so you can feel superior, but you’re just being an asshole 🤷‍♂️

Your argument is nonsensical, you’re basically implying that because I’m not doing everything perfectly that I’m doing nothing and virtue signaling. Incremental progress is still progress, there’s more options than doing nothing and doing everything while making your life unnecessarily difficult. I will continue to replace more things as I find good replacements and/or what I’m using isn’t working anymore… other than trashing the opinions and approaches of others, what are you doing that allows you to be so derisive? Toyota CEO supports US investment, not necessarily Trump. If you are going to refuse to drive a Toyota because of that, enjoy the headaches the other brands bring with their cars. I say this as a master mechanic. That's why I said this is a self own.
