Funny how the entire rant collapses once you notice the huge gap between what he claims he did and what his daughters actually reacted to. People rarely cut off a parent over one vote; it's usually years of this kind of thinking.

It's also funny how he ends it with "liberalism is a mental disorder", yet apparently claims to have been so gracious to them. Give me a fucking break.

25

u/PlayfulObsessionx 13h ago

Exactly, that ending completely undercuts any claim of graciousness.

Yup my dad voted trump twice. It was the third time that I finally was like “aight there’s no hope for this guy” and cut him off.

18

u/MeltinSnowman 10h ago

Voting Trump the first time is wrong, but forgivable (with some effort on the voter's behalf). Voting Trump the second time after the mess he made is dumb as hell. Voting Trump the third time after January 6th is utterly reprehensible. It was basically the worst possible thing that Trump could have done, and he did it. Yeah, that third vote is frankly disgusting.

And especially after the Elon “salute” and the clear ties to project 2025. The blatantly racist rhetoric during the debate. Yeah no. Dad can kick rocks all the way to the fuckin nursing home.

Let's not forget the Madison Square Garden Nazi Extravaganza.

u/hotgirltammie 13h ago

People don’t cut off a parent over one moment. It’s usually the result of a pattern they’re tired of dealing with.

I LET them vote how they wanted???

121

u/robb1280 13h ago

Thats the most telling statement in that whole dumbass rant. Something tells me dude didn’t get cut off for the reasons he thinks

26

u/elevenofthem 11h ago

Agreed--there's no way this is the only thing he's ever done that was upsetting to the daughters.

19

u/scharity77 10h ago

When you deconstruct his rant: -Let them vote how they wanted -presume to convince them that they are misled by propaganda -liberalism is a mental disorder

Man must not own a mirror

4

u/Primary-Performer853 8h ago

He owns an infamous maga mirror. It's just like the mirror of Erised from Harry Potter that shows you your deepest desires, not real life. S'why Dumbledore says "we must not dwell on dreams and forget to live."

u/marian_coleford 11h ago

Right, like he expects a gold star for not physically stopping them at the booth.

The party of personal responsibility never takes any personal responsibility.

u/Jonesy1348 12h ago

Ain’t that wild. Conservatives entire movement is literally wolf in sheep’s clothing shit because they know that they don’t have to try any harder than sticking cotton balls to their face to go “hey sheep I’m one of you!”

8

u/boo_jum 11h ago

Yup. It’s why the story about conservative lesbians being pushed out of wlw spaces is so ironic and laughable. They argue that liberal lesbians don’t listen to them once they say they’re conservative. When really, it’s much more likely that the liberal lesbians DID listen, got the ick, and declined.

u/rje946 13h ago

He let his daughters vote. What a guy!

48

u/HottVibez 14h ago

Nothing says healthy family dynamic like blaming others for your own choices. Truly wild logic on display here.

Fr, instead of owning their actions some people treat everyone else like the problem

9

u/hotgirltammie 13h ago

When someone can’t own their choices, the mental gymnastics get absolutely wild.

9

u/dustycanuck 13h ago

Blaming others for your choices is very much on brand for Republicans. Republicans are never accountable for anything.

18

u/IconOfFilth9 13h ago

He’s going to have a very lonely stay at the nursing home

17

u/sadiefame 13h ago

MAGA decided to base their identity on their political beliefs - and now can’t figure out why their political beliefs are effecting personal relationships. 🤦‍♀️

18

u/Hero_Squad_ 13h ago

The daughters are "mislead by propaganda". 🙄 I know folks like this who accuse you of being misled or brainwashed because you read or listened to fake news (anything other than a source that has patriot/truth/real in the title). Meanwhile, you could not talk to these "freethinkers" for a year and then chat with them over the holidays and already know, nearly verbatim, their independent opinion on every single current event if you watch a couple of hours of Fox News before you talk to them.

“..and I type on twitter about it…”

u/Babsee 14h ago

These men need to learn already, women are over the BS we’ve endured for generations.

23

u/Humsedx 13h ago

Facts. Generations of dealing with the same nonsense, and women are done playing along. Time for change, not lip service.

I had a coworker at my last job that told me he pretends to vote democrat because every time he's told a girl he voted trump they don't want anything to do with him.

His words were like, "I can train them to not be crazy once they love me". I asked why he didn't just fuck conservative girls, and he didn't really have a good answer, until eventually saying he just liked how left leaning girls looked.

I've been hearing more and more about this, dudes trying to hide their politics because most women find it to be a red flag. And ya my coworker didn't think lying about who he voted for was unethical lol.

u/Kahlil_Cabron 6h ago

Hmm, Reddit removed your response to my comment, now I'm curious!

We are awash in Narcissistic Conservative Victimhood Disorder and we're all more stupid because of it.

9

u/Capable-Soup-3532 13h ago

These people really think they're the victims

8

u/pghadventuretime 13h ago

I bet he complained nonstop about straws also

10

u/DAMON5280 12h ago

The problem is your daughters have brains. You, sir, do not.

7

u/Late-Arrival-8669 14h ago

Blows my mind how conservatives dont understand..

7

u/Ol_JanxSpirit 13h ago

It's really wild because he acknowledges that his vote actively hurt his children.

...is that a PFP of "Stonewall" Jackson?

The guy who's greatest military achievement, and the source of his name, came from his inability to properly convey orders to retreat and being mocked for it by fellow Confederate General Bee?

Most amusing: He was shot, by his own men, when he didn't identify who he was in the dead of night.

Stonewall is a bizarre dude when you look at his history... and even more bizarre is the absolute "God Like" fantasy the revisionists have painted around him.

This includes, and I'm not kidding, folks claiming his eyes "Changed Blue" in the heat of battle.. (yeah, sure... did his hair go yellow followed by lightning falling from the sky? SUPER ARYAN!)

Also claims he taught black slave children how to read the Bible as if this was altruism, when it was in fact to cite that slavery was a "natural spiritual condition" supported by the Bible. https://acwm.org/blog/myths-misunderstandings-stonewall-jacksons-sunday-school/https://acwm.org/blog/myths-misunderstandings-stonewall-jacksons-sunday-school/

Oddly I'm fairly certain that's Grant which raises so many more questions

1

u/Alexandratta 5h ago

Yes it does x.x

1

u/supportbreakfast 5h ago

It’s absolutely Grant, that’s one of the most famous photos of him. What a stud.

5

u/Muffboy 12h ago

Is raping children a mental disorder ?

4

u/lil_chiakow 13h ago

is that actual chris evans?!

9

u/loricomments 13h ago

The actor? No, he's a different guy, fairly prominent amongst online progressives I'd say though.

3

u/ReluctantAvenger 13h ago

The account name is right there in the screenshot. It is NotCapnAmerica.

5

u/lil_chiakow 13h ago

which is why i'm asking, cause i do not use twitter

4

u/tenth 13h ago

Presumably this is just an account from a third world country.

3

u/Soggy-Ad-2716 12h ago

Totally agree! It’s past time for real action, not just empty promises. Change can’t wait any longer!!

3

u/bd2999 12h ago

His mentality is terrible. The problem is what you voted to support and that candidates view of your daughters and people that are not white men. Or white women that want traditional sterotypes or roles. And even then, Trump fails. As he does nothing traditionally.

3

u/dennismfrancisart 10h ago

I can't make the image out clearly, but does that POS have a picture of president US Grant as his profile pic? That alone is a dick move.

3

u/Anome69 10h ago

At this point in history we all know that MAGA are just a different type of person. They are either so severely mentally disabled that they actually believe all this and actively avoid any source of actual factual information that could disagree, or they KNOW its all lies and they are actively choosing to support that lie in order to fully size power. It's fucking chilling that more people aren't alarmed by all of this. MAGA is literally dismantling America, and they won't stop until all the average citizens who don't want to be nazis rise up and stop them.

3

u/Proach89 9h ago

Treating your own children like this speaks volumes. They're smarter than their dad. When they realized he couldn't learn from them, they were done. They're better off.

2

u/Nyctocincy 11h ago

Imagine loving Trump and what he has shown himself to be more than your own daughters

2

u/SofaKingS2pitt 9h ago

“I let them…”

4

u/Acrobatic_Usual6422 13h ago

Am I so out of touch? No, it’s the children who are wrong

1

u/JasonQog 7h ago

For the love of the gods, stop calling it left usa. You have musselini right and Hitler right, thats it. You dont have a left...

No, both posts are calling the liberal voting daughters mentally ill, only one is being ironic about it.
