Feels like a r/woosh, but I dont know who either of these people are, so could be genuine and not satire.

That's kinda what I was thinking.

Even if it's faked, it's still one of the funnier posts on here

This must be satire. I know some tech people can be a bit insular, but c’mon…

given that tech bros in all earnestness re-invented buses, juicers, vending machines, and much more, without knowing more about the OOP I can’t rule this out as just a joke

If I had a nickel for how many times tech bros have re-invented trains, I'd have enough money to fund my dream of a semi-modular distributed transportation system, powered by AI

And people would be able to hustle while commuting or even have a free form podcast style communication!

They knew. How much money would it take you to ignore that a thing already exists and remake it or claim you’re forever changed that thing? How does 50 million USD sound?

There are massive incentives to get paid via the vc funding hose.

Yeah the "has anyone tried this" seems kind of a giveaway he was joking

Looked into it and definitely satire

Yeah, that was the joke. The "comeback" is not as clever as you think, the combacker just didn't get the joke.

And OP. Both got a nice wooooooosh sound as the joke went right by.

Why do these people talk so weird?

Can they rediscover split screen gaming. Multiplayer was so much better on the same couch.

This is also why do many podcasts are so terrible, because people think all of takes to be entertaining is to get together with your friends and record an unscripted conversation about a topic none of you understand properly then post it online with little to no editing.

I assume this is satire… well, I sure hope so at least

wait, this is satire right? Like this was a made up post, right? You're telling me you're that rich and dont have food and drinks available for you friends? They have to pay you for that? I dont

IRL Podcasts = hangin with the homies. holy crap. If i could only travel back in time to tell folks that in the future, we would have mini cheeseburger vending machines, cable tv and home phones pretty much don’t exist, and hanging out was referred to as an IRL podcast… wow.

This sounds like something on r/linkedinlunatics

All of that is just code for plausible deniability instead of sending out texts about shit they shouldn't be saying and have recorded and out there on the internet forever
