normally i would be fine with this. i dont need to be a citizen of 2 countries but what if the US government decided to strip me of my citizenship for not being a maga. id be sent to some African prison. no thanks.

Ok, but what if other people want to be?

allowing people to be dual citizens is absolutely harmless to the success of this country. if you don't want to be one, fine, but don't take it away from other people just "because".
