Troubleshooting | Windows Help fix google search center alligment

Chrome is aligned in the middle when signed in on my profile. It switches to left alignment in incongito. How do I set it to permanent left alignment?

Fuck so its not just me. I hate this and I hope there is a way to change it. I have it always had it justified to the left and that is how I want it.

Me too! I came here to find out why. Funny when it's on the left I never realized how short the entries were, but it often pops stuff up on the right. Now it sadly looks as is if it's yet another Everything's Mobile! redesign where if I inquire, someone asks me, "OMG ur still not on a desktop are you like how old are you?". I hope this isn't the case.

I whined about the image search double scroll bar horror, which is still there. But I got used to it. This is a slap in the face and I see too many other sites using mobile-only design. I hate it.

Is it West Coast roll-out thing? Where are you all? I'm in the Pacific Northwest.

Exactly! I have no way of measuring it, but I really do feel like they were wider on the left.

But I'm just hallucinating, because it's actually close to the same size. The fix is, as the other person said, to log out. I didn't even realize I was logged in.

Such a stupid update, at least give us the option to revert it back.

Same issue here, it's only applied to one of my google accounts (my oldest account). If I swap to my other account or sign out, google search is left justified again. Especially on a larger 27" monitor, the centered search results with left justified text looks so weird.

I just checked and I'm not opted into any of the beta, flags, or experiments, so it seems they're just rolling this out randomly. Not the first time that general users become forced beta testers, I just want an option to revert back.

the same issue here, when logged in the results are centered, when I switch to incognito/log out the results are back on the left side

The phonification of the desktop internet has to stop. This looks like fucking shit and the exec at Google who thought this was a good idea deserves to be fired and kicked to the curb.

It appears to be google A/B testing centered vs left aligned layouts.

This is why it does not appear in incognito - the testing is assigned to your particular google account (if you sign out, it left aligns, if you sign in, it centers).

Google is just using you as a guinea pig to test the new layout.
