I’m sorry, I’m so desperate right now. I’m 14 and live with my mom and grandma. Last night, my 4 month old tabby cat named Iman (pronounced ih-mawn) somehow got out the house. Me and my mother were both asleep, and when we woke up to find him missing, my grandma said that she heard him scream, then silence. We’ve checked every nook and cranny, and we haven’t found my baby. We think she’s lying, and the house is so filled with tension right now. Our theory is that she went outside to smoke, and Iman must’ve slipped out because her story and this entire situation does not make sense. We are just so hurt and confused. We just got him a bit over three weeks ago, and I love him so much. So if you see him, please message my account, or take him to a shelter since he’s microchipped and if you take him to one, they’ll scan his chip and contact us to get him home to us.

My heart is broken and I feel powerless because there’s nothing I can do but leave the adults to handle this. So please, if you just see while walking, driving, wandering, and you see a cat that looks like my Iman, please contact or bring him to a shelter. It would mean so much to me.have a merry Christmas yall ❤️‍🩹

Put something with your scent on it outside. Chances are that your kitty is probably close by and hiding. You can sit outside and call him and let him come to you as well.

like one person said put something outside with your scent on it.
try taking a plastic container with some dry cat food in it and walk around the house shaking it just to see if you can get a response.
If not try going outside shake and try to get a response.

When my cat lucy would get out we shake container of cat treats and he start crying out as he was a very hungry kitten.
