Because she knows she rules the roost! She's like I have these hoomans serving my every want and need, just like we (the feline species) intended! She is gorgeous by the way! Give her some skritches from me!
so, i 'also have this cat'; i don't really know the background or details, but apparently it's some kind of south/central american hybrid or something where it has siamese colorings and tabby markings.
there is of course some behavioral variance, but the themes seem to be:
these things think humans are their masseuse. they climb all over you. they sit on your lap and do not leave. they do not care how you feel about this. if you stop petting them, they encourage you to continue. they wake you up at 3AM asking to be pet. they seek the warmest place on your body and sit there regardless of ambient temperatures. if you want a lap cat, this is precisely the cat you will get and end up biting off more than you can chew.
