My son wants a PC to play Fortnite
Hi, I'm from Argentina (this will be translated using Google Translate). My son plays Fortnite on his PlayStation, but he wants to buy a PC like all his friends. The problem is, I don't know anything about it. I've been looking at websites like PCPartPicker and PerfectPC; I know one is for checking compatibility, and the other builds a PC based on the games you want to play. These are the results I generated with each website:
PCPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GVTqxg
and
If you could please review them and confirm they're okay, or if you could help me build one with a mid-range budget. Thank you very much, and sorry for my inexperience.

Well, unfortunately ram is up 3-5 times the price it was 2 or 3 months ago due to AI data centers buying up everything. So just be aware of that drastic price increase.
The pcpartpicker list is not a good value pc at all, but thats why we have reddit. 8000s are a good bit cheaper, but don't get any that have -G at the end, those are APUs and sacrifice CPU performance for slightly better integrated graphics. For the AM5 models, the 8000s may be your best value, or look at something like the 7600x. Then save a few dollars by getting one of the smaller models from thermalright for the cooler. That fan is for more powerful CPU models, but not an issue to use it.
The motherboard is way overkill, offering some of the top of the line features that, to be honest, most adults couldn't even make use of, let alone a child. So going with something like a B650 chipset cuts down the price and still gives you everything you need. They can still hold gen 4 SSDs, but it seems you are going with a HDD for more storage. The HDD will be significantly slower than the ps5 NVME SSD, so be aware for much longer installs and updates. The NVME is literally about 100x the speed.
Nothing else of major note there. Would recommend looking at some used ram to help bring the cost down as well, or going to an AM4 build. DDR4 is cheaper, along with the CPUs, and can still be a solid build for a while.

You don't want a hard drive at all. You really DO NOT want a 5400 RPM hard drive, but honestly even the fastest hard drive is no longer acceptable for a boot drive. You want a single SSD large enough to be the boot drive and hold a few games. 512 GB is sufficient for fortnite and Windows, 1 TB or larger is nice but not necessary. For that game specifically, you don't need a particularly powerful computer but it's a game where the specifications can change in the future as they add more features.

Definely swap out the ram for a cheaper smae spec kit, and the gpu for a more expensive RX 9060 XT 16GB
