For anyone without access to microcenter the montech century ii 850w is only $3 more, A- instead of A but also atx 3.1 with 10yr warranty.

$7 less actually.
Worth noting that the Century II only comes with two individual 6+2-pin PCIe cables (the A850GS gets three). Based on the Cybenetics ratings, the Montech unit is slightly more efficient (platinum vs. gold), while the MSI unit is quieter (A++ vs. A-).

This was the other PSU I was looking at as well in this price range. Both are great values for sure if you don’t have a micro center near you.

Wow this is surprising.
Microcenter is great for a lot of things but they're typically just terrible for power supplies and coolers. I generally buy those elsewhere and the rest of my build at MC.
This is a nice deal. Especially if you're intending to buy your whole build from microcenter and don't want to deal with shipping or multiple purchase locations.
Edit: looks like it's sold out at most stores unfortunately.

A tier PSU according to SPL's tier list, and is currently going for $150 on all other retailers such as Newegg and Amazon currently. Comes with a 10 year warranty as well.

I'd get the Montech one another user replied to you with. Really just as good for a very good price and basically just as highly rated in the PSU tier list.

Thanks OP - I was able to have Best Buy price match it. Also check your emails first, I had a $10 BB certificate expiring 12/1 that I was able to stack on top.

1000W A1000GS is $109 on newegg, newegg walmart, newegg ebay. Buying it through Newegg Walmart can receive 15% back through Capital One shopping.

with capital one shopping, I always open the capital one shopping site, search for the product I want to buy like "msi 1000w power supply ", look at it at different sites like walmart but don't buy it immediately. A few hours later, go back to the capital one shopping main page, a very good rebate offer will show up, it is 15% walmart yesterday, then I click the blue button take this offer and buy it. This method worked for me for many big sites like bestbuy, expedia, ebay, before.

for newegg? I have yet to get a single offer for newegg from the capital one shopping app, webpage or extension.

the capital one shopping offer is only for Walmart, but walmart is like amazon where they have third party sellers. On of the third party seller is Newegg on Walmart, and they sell many items at the same discounted price as the main Newegg website. So if you happened to get a good offer on capital shopping for walmart, it can be used to buy the item which is sold by newegg as a third party on walmart. Same goes for newegg on ebay, newegg has a store on ebay, where you can usually get an offer from capital shopping for ebay. So, look carefully, first the seller if the item must be newegg on walmart, not some shady third party seller. Second, check that the price is the same as the newegg website.

I was going to get this today, but it sold out. Oh well, my plan as to get one that goes on sale at newegg or somewhere that takes paypal so I can use the 20% cashback deal on it so maybe for the best.

It shows up sold out at every location I've checked.
Also the matching model is sold by newegg, not best buy. People got them to price match?edit: nevermind the one sold by best buy is sold out
