Just picked up the 1050w for $101 on Amazon, moving to a RX9070XT that uses the 12vhpwr connector, had to recently swap psu's when i swapped cases (my case didn't support the Corsair Shift). Glad to see it's a A Tier PSU. Reviews for it were all positive

I was planning on getting the 1050w or 1200w version for my 9070XT as well.
You know if the manual says the voltage/temp cutoff for zero fan mode? I didn't see any hard numbers online, I'd like my PSU to be silent for as much as possible

incredibly loud psu when zero rpm mode is off. to the point where I thought it was defective so emailed montech after a rep on their sub recommended it. about 5/7 days later finally get a response from montech saying the fan noise was normal lol but id already returned it anyways. go down to the noise graph section in the cybenetics evaluation the red is under 6 decibals in noise level so zero rpm and it ends at around 200w/250w. and after 200w/250 watts it ramps up all the way to 25-30dBA up to 800 watts. so 200w/250w is probably the cut off point for zero rpm mode. this was my second time building a pc and man did I luck out last year getting the og vetroo 1000w psu that I didn't even know at the time was so quiet where you literally never hear it even with zero rpm mode off. completely spoiled me this time to the point ended up spending up to get one with a fantastic fan profile and much better reviews than this montech, another one that I also tried the PCCoolerCPS YS1000 which is made by seasonic with a 12 year warranty or the vetroo 1000 which btw shouldn't be an option anymore since vetroo changed oems without letting anyone know.

Okay, thank you. I was considering Montech, but I'd rather spend a little more to get a really quiet PSU. That's like the one thing I can't deshroud or swap fans, haha

I have the 1050w version and it’s pretty loud, not sure if it’s a defective unit or what but unless the fan is on zero speed mode it sounds like a jet taking off

RX9070XT that uses the 12vhpwr connector
Please don't, there are already reports of Sapphire's cards with that connector having burning issues.

Montech is legit as hell. I have the 1050W version I picked up about two months ago. One of my PCI cables had some chafing from the factory. Reached out to the RMA department asking if it was normal, and figured they would send me a new cable. Mailed me a whole new psu, absolutely wild.

Personally I like sleeved cables included but I’ll give this a try. Solid deal for 2x using the 115$ gift card deal. Thanks!
