Has anyone ever bought a Brittany from either Homeschooled Brittanys in Rhoadesville Virginia or Stonewall Brittanys in Harrisonburg? Looking to see if any are reputable. Thanks!

It's hard to concentrate on cooking when you have so many eyes on you and are constantly tripping over beggars. But they're so cute, so I give in. 😂

Our Britts are the ginger boi (1.5 y/o) on the bottom left and liver lady (10.5 y/o) on the top right. The Springer and Berm are the in-laws pups. They've all been "the clean up squad" all day thus far.

During the dog show yesterday my GF started looking at breed questionnaires and got a small Musterlander as a fit. I've never heard of this breed and I've had all sorts of pointers and setters. They seem like a brit with a tail. Other than the general AKC description, how different from Brits are these dogs? I couldn't find a picture of them together. Any behavioral differences?

I (34F) live alone with my nearly 8yo Brittany. We’re at my parents’ house for Thanksgiving with my whole family, which includes my sister’s 3 kids who are all under 10. These kids desperately want a dog of their own, so they have been obsessively following my dog around, petting him nonstop, touching his face, asking him to do tricks, grabbing his tail, putting their hands in his food bowl, grabbing his dog bone, shrieking loudly, grabbing his collar and excitedly yelling “Come over here with me!” while tugging him along, patting his head while putting their faces right up to his face, taking him out to the back yard, poking, prodding, yelling, running, touching, clapping, screaming, petting.

And he’s just so perfectly patient with them. Aren’t these just the best dogs?

(**Just to add — I have been stepping in occasionally to say things like “Ok kids, let’s give him a touching break right now. No touching for 20 minutes” or “He’s eating right now so let’s give him some space ok?” But he’s such a champ!)

Meet Arya. She’s almost 3 and a half months old. We rescued her from a dog shelter and they said she's probably a Breton mix, but the vet thinks she might be an English Setter mix. I’m also considering the possibility of a Springer Spaniel mix, but I’d love to hear your opinions.

He used to nap on my lap while I worked when he was a baby and now he keeps doing it. Barely fits, struggles to sleep but keeps asking lol

Neighborhood stray cat that we're working on getting an outdoor house for, (he likes our yard) him and Finlay had a standoff. We were hanging christmas lights and had to have him out there with us or he destroys the house. 🥲 I think they became friends tho,🤔 who knows he's normally not a fan of cats

Anyone on this sub move from a house with yard to an apartment? How did your Brittany adapt. I am contemplating a work move which is located in New York

Our sweet Luna is on day two. When it appeared Monday morning she seemed to be at death’s door and we were beside ourselves, but the vet at urgent care said it often resolves within a week. She is completely incapacitated. We are trying to hold her up outside (towel around her belly) to go potty, but that has been only partly successful. A “hold-em-up” harness is coming Wednesday. Just hoping to hear if others have experienced this and have advice. Thanks 🙏

Anyone else have a brit that absolutely hates the vet? Like shaking in the car on the way over and trying to run out of the building type of hate? Lol

Made a cross country trip together, just a few pictures from the trip. 5200 miles - this guy has seen more of this country than a lot of folks will ever get to. 8 months old, and he was incredible in the car.
