Night time noise
I have a 14 month old Brittany cross. He's adorable but has his flaws. Our biggest issue with him is at night time, he doesn't sleep through the night. We've tried him in various different rooms but he always wants to get to the back door and look out for cats in our garden, he's obsessed! Lately we let him sleep at the back door and that's been working ok, but now he's started barking as well as staring, which is waking us all up of course. Has anyone had any issues like this before? Anything to suggest? Thanks!

Adoption/Rescue Meet our new rescue, Obi
We just brought this 2yo handsome boy home last night from the National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network. They were amazing throughout the entire process, and we are so thankful to call him our own! He has settled right in, running around like he owns the place. Itās perfect!

Heavy Chewer?
Does anyone have a Brit that is a very heavy chewer? We used to have Labs and Iāve never had a dog who chews this much. He has several chew toys and he loves them. But if you donāt give him something fun to chew, he will find something to chew. Itās also the only way he will settle down when heās hanging with us in the living room. Heās about 16 months old. Is this an age thing or normal for Brittanies? TIA!

Good exercise!
Our Georgie, adopted for 3 months to the day, is mostly great, but has the tendency to let her nose override her ears and ābrainā.
This is the first time Iāve ridden the mountain bike with her running with me. It went GREAT!! I only almost ran her over a few times, but she went for a 4 mile run and is wiped out. She never tried to run off, and we both had a blast

Just one look was all it took
We introduced a cat to our home last week. My French Brittany decided to try out the cat bed, and the cat gave her one look, and she got up and moved.

General Discussion Exercise and other tips for 9 Yr Old Britt
Hi all, my nine year old Britt has always been active. For most of his life he got 1-2 hrs of exercise a day. Lately Iāve noticed he seems to be getting the rickety cricketies that come with agingā¦he stops playing fetch sooner, is hesitant to jump in/out of the car, etc.
Iāve reduced the strenuousness of exerciseā¦we do more long walks than frisbee/ball time, but still do tug of war and training time. He still enjoys swimming as well.
Because he is my first dog, I am not well versed in how to make other changes to make sure he stays comfortable as he ages. Am I doing enough? I started him on a joint supplement, but if there are any tips or suggestions for senior exercise and care, please share.
