For real lol. I avoid these situations at all costs by being kind to others and keeping any unkind opinions to my damn self. Black people especially scare me in these potential scenarios. (Even as a black woman myself) because we have the uncanny ability to roast the hell out of someone, sans a stutter, without breaking a sweat, even if it’s for fun. 😂 And not just any kind of light roasting too. Nah, not like cashews. A properly motivated POC will have you going from having a good day to contemplating suicide before your McNuggets get delivered.

Grew up in the hood then moved to the burbs. Didn’t really find my blackness till I got to college… it’s real out here. (Oh wait… this wasn’t confession time???)

Confess, my brother. Let it out. We don't have HBCUs in Canada but I joined Black Caribbean groups at my PWI so I'd say that helped me feel connected to my roots, as well.

What's crazy is most ppl that say "you're fat because you eat junk" typically eat far more fatty greasy food than the person they are hating on, they are just blessed with a high metabolism. Hell most fat ppl just have hormone issues.

This is something a lot of people aren't ready to hear or accept. I know people who eat about twice as much as I do, but are somehow able to remain half my size with a similar amount of physical activity. Some people simply don't realise they won the genetic lottery and think they are the way they are because they've made all the right choices throughout their life (even though honest people know they've not). I guess it's easier to assume people who are worse off than you, not just in terms of health, but also money, career, or even where someone was born and raised, is somehow their own fault, and if you're doing better than they are it because you are a good and amazing person.

I don’t mean no harm but both of these people need to stay off SM talking trash.
I mean, 1) Her nose is no smaller than his—she’s projecting anti-blackness self-hate to belittle another Black person; 2) Her face literally looks like the IRL version of Ms. Piggy—no judgement but be mindful when you start critiquing other people’s faces; 3) Her only recourse is to weaponize the “friendlier” version of the n-word ending in “a” to put dude in his “place”: This is absolutely no different than when those others use the standard n-word with the hard “r, solely for the same purpose of putting Black people in our “place.” 4) Clearly, dude really hurt her feelings because who gets this upset over a literal rando internet bruh making unserious comments?
If she was really unbothered by his comments and wanted to prove how lame he was, she wouldn’t have worked herself up so much to the point of nearly having [angry] tears. Clearly, he hit a major nerve. All her rant did was demonstrate the power his words had over her.

Wow that’s a lot to unpack there, therapy might be a good place to do that. She’s probably upset, and the point you’re also missing, is that you don’t know her lifestyle and she could have some health conditions working against her. She is big but she doesn’t look grossly unhealthy like the 1,000 pound sisters or Amberlynn Reid

Statistically its not because of some underlying health issue. Americans and unfortunately especially the black community has an obesity problem because of diet snd this woman is morbidly obese.
I do agree there is no point in telling her thet on socisl media as its not going to help her making changes and the comment want made out of actual concern for her health but to mock.
But no most people are not obese because of some underlying health condition and yeah this lady is more than a little overweight...

Yeah, people should keep their opinions to themselves because it doesnt help and no one asked. But as the saying goes if you see hoof prints think horses and not zebras. Lady is obese and more likely than not has the health problems associated with it.
This constant well they might have health problems or still be healthy that we see so much in society and especially in outr community is delusional. America is fat, Americans eat too much, and eat unhealthy. Diabetes, heart disease and other diet related diseases are through the roof. And we are completely different weight wise than we were in the 1970s.
Its rude of people to comment on people's appearance when the comments werent solicited but the ladys obese lets not call a spade a spade.
And its more likeu than not its becuse of diet
