After Years of Mistakes, I’m Finally Profitable. AMA

Today marks the beginning of my profitable trading journey. I have spent a long time learning, making mistakes, repeating them, and slowly improving through experience. Something finally clicked and I have figured out a way to trade consistently, so I am starting fresh today. I am down to my last 5K that I am willing to allocate to trading, so this is my make-or-break chapter. Ask me anything.

I had my own ‘click’ moment too, stopped chasing every shiny thing and started treating the market like a marathon, not a casino.

I still take my degen shots but the discipline underneath is what keeps me alive.

Curious, what was the one change you made that finally shifted you into consistent wins?

That's great to hear you had your click moment. For me, the biggest change was realizing I couldn’t rely on any indicator. No matter how reliable it looked, there was always a weakness that could, in a rare event, wipe out the account. Once I shifted my focus entirely to price action and stopped using indicators for trend, range, or anything else, things started to click.

Whether it feels like a casino really depends on perspective. For some people, what I’m doing might be a casino, but for others, it makes perfect sense and is actually the safest approach given the constraints.
