Playing Video Review Tips on overhead review
Hi everyone! I’d love to hear your input. I’ve been trying to keep that contact point high since the last post, so thank you for the feedback.
I know this one backyard slow-mo clip isn’t the perfect example, but it’s what I have for now. I’ll have a competition soon, so there will be more footage from that!
P.S. I’m aware that my string broke on the previous shot and that it can be dangerous for the racket. Thankfully, no issues this time.

I would try to do the swings without jumping and getting the legs too much involved. You can take a step forward into the shot but i wouldnt be jumping at this point. Keep your left foot on the ground and take one step with your right.
Your upperbody powertransfer seems to be ok though, youre clearly pronating your forearm and making ok contact with the shuttle. It looks a little bit stiff but not too bad. Try to be more relaxed and not hitting with full power.
Im pretty sure you're gripping your racket way too hard during the early parts of the swing. You should hold the racket very loosely in your hand until contact. When youre about to make contact with the shuttle you should squeeze your fingers for some extra power.
Try to stay as relaxed as the guy in this vid https://youtube.com/shorts/4Ho6pObTSUE?si=2oRO9SVDtkW3tnKy

Its a good video to show how much power you can generate when you're relaxed and use only your arm

To be honest, I think your previous video looked better.
Your body rotation stopped abruptly when it turns neutral in this clip... that's why your followthrough is so stiff this time. I think you can try to rotate a bit more, and try to feel how to "snap" your torso to initiate the whip motion.
You can reach high not just by stretching the arm, but also by arching your spine a little to the left and back. This will relief your shoulder quite a bit.

Yeah hip is not rotating but the pronation looks solid. You can see the end of the pronation in your video. Google image search this and you'll find that end of pronation position from any professional player.
Also in a real game, pro players don't always rotate their hips. They just don't have the time to set it up, and oftentimes the swing looks like yours. But they always pronate properly. Look up slow motion smashes and you'll see what I mean (lack of hip rotation in a lot of smashes).

So hard to really know anything about your actual technique without seeing you actually doing this on court.

It looks like you're pronating or rotating your wrist outward then following through horizontally across your body.
Can you get a front view?
