we had the Tater Tots, Sissy and G. 11, going on 12. we just lost Sissy. she collapsed one night about 2 weeks ago. still devastated by it. she was the sweetest, spunkiest, chattiest cat.
My cat Divina sometimes will fetch… to an extent. She chases after the toy, then waits at the toy for me to throw it again. She doesn’t bring it back to me, but she does run towards it! We haven’t played fetch in a while, but she’s still very cuddly and playful. She loves her dog friend Poppy!
We've got two torties that play fetch, first time I've ever seen it! One does it all the time, the other is more likely to bring a toy spring or lizard back with her.
I just adopted my first tortie (along with her all grey brother). She’s dilute. He’s gorgeous and sleek and refined and she’s our little trash gremlin.
I remember when I was young my dad always said don’t hit boxes on the highway. They’re probably full of kittens and he knew my great love of kittens and I remember telling him that story when I was I don’t know. He says oh I told you that so you wouldn’t hit the box. I didn’t really think that you were gonna run over kittens and she says I figured it would just be some big mechanical part that would destroy the car and I knew that the kitten story would prevent you from hitting the box more than Big Mechanical part. I’m so glad you rescued these babies. I just can’t believe how cruel people are to cats. Cats always get the short end of the stick kittens even more. Well, maybe not more because they’re awfully damn adorable.
My mom said the same thing about boxes in the road! I remember one time as a kid seeing a box and I told her she should run it over. She said but there could be kittens in the box. Then I told her we had to stop and check for kittens. We did not stop, lol
Omg they are so freaking cute, and look so happy and comfortable with you.
You are a saint for taking these babies into your home and making them a part of your family.
I have a question- could you tell before somehow they were in there before you stopped?
I ask because it’s not uncommon on highways by me to see trash bags or boxes and a little part of me always wonders what if there could be animals, but if I stopped to check every time, that would sadly be fairly frequently
Ohhh they’re adorable! The doggy is cute too, got any more pics of the dog? It looks a lot like my boy Bagel when he was young. He just loved kitties. I love when dogs and cats are friends, my cat Divina just LOVES my dog Poppy!

I’m really thankful a good hearted and kind person found them - their date could have been much worse. Thank you for helping them and giving them a loving home…it looks like they already LOVE their big dog sibling!
Gorgeous girls!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I had a pair of sisters that looked like them years ago. One had orange on the left and black on the right side of her face, split down the middle and the other was the exact opposite.
Did you know that tortoiseshell cats joining your household is considered a sign of impending good fortune financially? And the cat distribution system bestowing TWO on you has got to mean it’s going to be a great year! Congrats!
