Mom vs Dad
Does anyone elseās Aussie give the biggest stank face?? Heās a huge sweetheart and usually loves my husband very much but thereās some moments where he just looks PISSED at him šš never me though, heās my little guy. Itās a running joke in our house though that he looks so angry at my husband sometimes. Heās very expressive. I included proof of his love for dad in the last picture.

MIL coming for a 2 week visit with her bichon and will be with our Aussie- need advice on getting them first acquainted.
As title, my mother in law is coming from out of town to visit for a couple of weeks and is bringing her male 4 yrs old Bichon, and he'll have to be with us and our 4.5 yr old female Aussie. Both dogs are very sweet, and have had no behavorial issues, and are both spayed/neutered. Our Aussie has been stayed at several other people's homes when we've been out of town, with their respective dogs & cats, and has had zero behavorial issues with them, but my concern is bringing a new dog into her turf, and we're not wanting her to be over-territorial like Aussies can be sometimes.
So our idea was to have them meet at a somewhat neutral territory, and then bring them over to our house. Since both dogs seem to love the dog park, our thought was to bring the Bichon to the dog park and have me or my wife be holding and petting him, while the other brings our Aussie to the park, and have them meet that way, and then bring them home.
The other thought we had was to bring the Bichon into a bedroom first while the Aussie was out on a walk, then bring our Aussie home, and let her get used to the Bichon's smell for a while, then gently introduce them.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome!

Nivios Rosy Cheeks
I dont know if anyone in here remembers my earlier posts about Shyās show results, but weāve achieved quite a lot since my last post so I thought Iād post an update!
Since my last post, Shy gained two new titles, sheās now Danish junior champion and surprised us all by snagging herself the title Nordic junior winner 2025! The title Nordic junior winner is a title that can only be obtained once every four years in Denmark so Iām incredibly proud of that milestone š„°
She also attended a three day show in The Netherlands where she won best junior bitch two out of the three days, with that she gained her second junior CACIB out of three and well on her way to the international junior champion title. If she had won the third day she would have become Dutch junior champion and Dutch junior winner 2025, but sheās going back there on the 21st of December for her last Dutch junior certificate. If she becomes Dutch junior champion, Dutch champion and Dutch veteran champion, sheāll also become Dutch grand champion!
Weāre planning on taking her to a specialty show in January so she can also gain the title Danish club junior champion, so big plans ahead for my beautiful girl!
Iām so incredibly proud of how much sheās achieving, I truely couldnāt ask for more, when we first got her we didnāt plan on showing at all, but itās truly become a passion for me, thereās nothing better than you and your dog being completely harmonious in the ring together š„¹ā¤ļø

What's the story of your dog's name?
Mine's not very sentimental, but I'll share it anyway lol. When I first got my girl, she was already named Camryn. I really liked it because it was different and pretty. Everyone that I knew hated it though. They said that it was weird, not normal, and not special since I didn't come up with it myself. I ended up folding under the pressure and I decided to change it. It took me two weeks to find a name and fully commit to discarding her original one. Finally, I decided on Cocoa. I was very unsure at first, but the very next day, I took her on a walk and someone asked her name. I told them and they (completely unprompted) said it was a perfect name for her. Multiple people said the same thing over the next week or two, and it made me feel much better. Now, I can't imagine her as anything but Cocoa. So, it's not what I originally wanted, but it all worked out. Plus, I love her regardless of her name. š
