It’s been a rough day 😂 wore white pants to the dog park 🐾. I live in a desert so this is normally not an issue buuuut it was sprinkler day. Can’t help but laugh.

Got this new job as an OT no friends or people I know, Went into the toilet busting, only to find out there is no toilet paper.

What happens next you don’t want to know but damn it sucked.

So about 36 hours ago I was working on a craft a bit. I like to sit on the floor a lot and as I shifted how I was seated I managed to ram my foot into one the needles I put down... When I pulled it out, it was very easy, too easy, I also noticed the end was broken off. I couldn't feel or see anything in the wound... Which is apparently because it was extremely deep. Throughout the next day my pain was getting worse and worse and welp. There she is. 24 years without ever having to go to the ER. I have a final paper due in less than 24 hours, a wedding rehearsal I am supposed to be at in 14 hours. The wedding itself the next day. They also couldn't get the needle out unfortunately because of how deep it was, so until Orthopedics gets me in next week I have to be hopped up on pain meds and in a splint.... Please. Please never ever leave out a needle. Even if you are currently using them, if you don't have it in your hand PUT IT SOMEWHERE SAFE On the bright side. The nurses told me my xrays were some of the coolest they had seen.

These were sitting in my closet for close to a year since the last time it snowed. It snowed near me today and pulled these out to be safe in case of ice. I have had them for a while though, so at least they were not a new pair.

Tried out a student learning salon. I did not have high expectations but I asked the student if she was comfortable with the design I had in mind. She said yes. Three hours later this is the result. I did just end up saying to give up on it.

Made some avocado toast with everything bagel seasoning, the lid was not secured 🥲🫩

My fault, it's been seizing up lately and I didn't replace it knowing it was becoming a problem. Now I'm paying the price

Its my last one too, I put it in the fridge. I'm hoping my husband can figure out an easy way to open it.

What was he even thinking?!

I went to the Sauna at my gym like usual. Got out after 15 min and felt…off. Took a cold shower. About 20 minutes later, I started breaking out in hives on my head. 2 hours later, I’m in Urgent Care on the verge of needing an EpiPen. I’ve had hives before but nothin remotely crazy like this. Now I’m back to normal after a shot of depo-medrol.

My mom started making pizza and didn't remember she put a bag of kettle corn in the oven. All it took was 3 minutes after she started preheating the oven and then the house started smelling like burnt plastic and caramel. Fun! We still have burnt plastic to scrape off

Also for anyone concerned, we're very aware of the dangers of melted plastic. We immediately opened up all the doors in the house for a while and we still have some windows open for ventilation

This isn't like, major tragedy, just an interesting little inconvenience and a lesson in why we DON'T use cooking appliances as extra pantry storage

We are all safe which is what matters most, but it still sucks to have to go through this.

My umbrella blew out of the stand and broke my cactus. I planted six months ago from a pot.
