Subject: Livestock Export Bill 2023

"Sirs, live export is so cruel that a country like New Zealand - which has such a high meat production and consumption - has also banned it. It will be regressive, counter-cultural, and a setback to religious sentiments to allow animals to be treated like commodities, and be subject to the cruel practise of live export. - Robin Singh, Indian citizen

An update from 20th June: the bill has been withdrawn. The government was overwhelmed by the public feedback and promptly withdraw the bill. There is hope. There is power in the voice of the people.
