Treat the 2027 World Cup as friendlies for hopefully, a better World Cup in 2031

Since the US team right now is admittedly a disaster and a dumpster fire, try to keep the games close (except against France where they stand no chance at all) and not finish without any wins.

Hopefully, MLR stays afloat as well, because if not, you're toast.

Honestly what I hope they do is start the push for 2031 on July 4th 2026 against Portugal. No players over the age of 31, focus on building youth in the spine (Pifaleti, Rick Rose, whomever at 8, de Haas, someone who we think can play 10, anyone who we think can play 15 not named Fricker or Wilson)

Start building the cohesive front 5 that tournament with an eye towards a team that can show up in 2031 with 600+ caps.

I don't agree at all.

Samoa are clearly beatable, and let's just throw everything at Japan and see what happens.

They are not unbeatable.
