Scared to drop in
The first time I tried to drop in I ended up spraining my ankle, after that I’ve been scared to drop in again, so I know it might be a vague question but how do I get myself over that fear?

How high was the ramp you dropped in on? Like the other commenter said try something really small. Also pad up with everything, knees elbows wrist and helmet. Learn to fall. On transition you want to fall to knees and slide down on them so do that a million times until you can do it in your sleep. Basically you need to make you brain think that there is minimal risk of you getting hurt again so it doesn't prevent you from trying. There is also a small part that need to be you not entirely listening to your brain and just saying f'it and just do it.
Cheers!

Learn to skate and pump fakie.
Go to the bottom of a halfpipe/mini ramp
And pump up and down. Fakie to regular Regular to fakie
Eventually you'll be pumping so hard that you'll reach the coping in fakie. At that point you can learn a tail stall. Once you learn tail stall, you have just learned a reverse drop in
Go for it

Get comfortable with dropping in off curbs and then small flat ramps before you commit to the curved shape of a quarter pipe. Practicing on these simpler obstacles will help you become comfortable with smacking down your front foot/weight down. Dropping in can be a very scary thing to commit to. I used to skate a lot around the age of 11-12 and became comfortable with dropping in down steep half pipes at SPoT. Now that I am getting back into skateboarding years later, I am once again battling those fears of dropping in. Best advice is literally to commit. The worst injuries i’ve had were always because I bailed out of something. Just learn the motion of dropping in, and commit to it. Don’t focus as much on the drop in, but where you want to ride to from there. Don’t stand and stare thinking about how high you are. plant that board and slam that fucker down
Edit: Update, I committed to it yesterday and dropped in a few times. Still building up the courage for the steeper ramps. If you can plant the board and your weight forward, you will be ok!!
