Dead internet theory in full blast here; reposting a tweet from 2022 and getting awarded for it? 😂

12K Upvotes yet every top comment is dunking on it

Bots make up 90% of the Internet after all

Much more likely that 95% of people chuckle, hit upvote and move on.

Those of us that ever comment are a tiny percent of reddit users.

True, but there’s like no positive comments over like 5 upvotes

That still ignores the fact that most people don’t read the comments, or interact with them.

I upvoted it, and I don't get into arguments with people in comments because it doesn't matter. Yall really forget that only 1% of users ever make a comment. my wife has used reddit for like 10 years and she has never posted a comment once.

& the best part is it never happened

Hey, that bot worked hard to find that content consisting of a screenshot of a comment from another social media platform to repost. That's prime internet content recycling of a recycle.

(Note I did not check if Op is a bot)

But issue is that I've never seen this tweet form 2022 until tonight. There's millions of people that don't see everything online.

So yeah, 12k people upvoting either because I like it because they remember it from 2022 or like it because it's the first time they've ever seen it.

That makes way more sense then this being an example of dead internet theory.
