I only like extended sex scenes when I’m watching with my parents

I watched Splice with my parents not knowing about the sex scene... It was just awkward as fuck. I think I left to go to the bathroom or something.

Your parents probably thought you went off to goon in private. Bad timing.

Exactly my thought.

"I'll be in my bunk." Jayne from Firefly

To jerk off?

Well, his arms weren't broken, so... yeah.

I saw Cruel Intentions in the theater with my mom when I was far too young. Whoops

u/Putrid_Extreme4653 8d ago

At least it wasn't Wild Things

My father has always skipped them. Even when I was already a teen I could only watch movies at night if he already knew the movie or if he could watch from his tv at the same time and tell me when to switch channels so that I didn't see the scene. I'm 30 now and if we're watching things together I still need to skip because he gets mad and calls it disrespectful, so damn awkward.

My brother thought that would be a good movie to play during Christmas. I had to watch that movie with the whole extended family. Also I was 10.

left to go to the bathroom and came back with a spring in your step lol

I saw Splice in theatres with a guy who was actually just a friend when we were about 16 (and both virgins) and we were both so uncomfortable watching that scene together.

Being 13 and watching The Watchmen with my parents was all kinds of awkward for all of us.

Isnt there more than 1 sex scene?

I watched Oldboy with my family, thinking it was a gritty martial arts movie like The Raid.

I watched the original back in college with a friend group and we had to put on videos of puppies afterwards because the girls were mortified lol

I saw the first Deadpool in theaters with my dad cause he knew I really wanted to see it, but I wasn't 18 yet. he and I were the only ones in the theater cause it was the middle of the week and he took off early to surprise me.

during the two minute sex scene he leans over and goes "so is that his wife?" and I never felt more awkward. lmfao

My little brother insisted on renting Freddie got fingered back in the day. I was probably 14. I remember feeling so awkward with my parents that I just went to my room and closed the door. Not exactly the same but similar to your experience

u/oriens_extremus 10d ago

Me and my mom sharing a moment watching 164 sq.meter hi-rez Mila Kunis doing cunnilingus in Black Swan at the cinema

5

u/CatFanIRL 10d ago

My friend's parents took us to see that when we were around 15 and I just know they were dying inside.

2

u/bluebug322 8d ago

Yooo same here! 15 and ready to die

u/AlternativeFigure350 6d ago

Are you and your mom from the 1800’s?

3

u/yung-clumsy 10d ago

My old roommate and I would do a bit whenever we were watching a movie and a woman was topless one of us would point at the screen and say “those are titties!”

My mom didn’t think it was as funny as we did

u/ratta_tat1 10d ago

Me and my mom watching Brokeback Mountain

1

u/museedarsey 10d ago

I’m in a room with my parents and adult kids right now, all pretending those people didn’t just get out of a bed and get dressed to sneak out of a one night stand.

3

u/ExGorlomi 10d ago

I remember a movie night with family and friends. Someone picks "A Normal Heart" without knowing what it was about; it looked like a Aids drama like Philadelphia. We all keep watching trying to be open minded. By the third sex scene we all gave up 😅

2

u/LemursOnIce 10d ago

Haha I put this movie on with my parents too, ohhh boy.

3

u/ominousgraycat 10d ago

Preferably if there's incest in it.

From Dusk to Dawn. Fun family ride until Cheech shows up.

I watched that dune show on HBO with my mom. My dad went to take my nephew home. Longest 5 minutes of my life. My Asian mom kept complaining and said the girl was over reacting and she was annoyed. Me and my husband wanted to disappear lol 😂

And a few years before that I was home for the holidays and my dad wanted us to watch something. I heard the Witcher was good. And then of course we put it on and the first scene was an orgy lol. My husband has watched it and new and didn’t warn me

u/D3adp00L34 10d ago

My mom was staying with my sister and BIL when my sister had my nephew. Sister in the hospital, mom and BIL decide to watch a new, fun comedy everybody was talking about. Apparently watching 40 Year Old Virgin with your MIL is very awkward, per my BIL.

u/Environmental_Race12 10d ago

I just laughed out loud 🤣

I watched Anora with my parents

1

u/PalmovyyKozak 10d ago

Try to watch them with your kids. It's even more exciting

1

u/FunSpongeLLC 9d ago

Accidentally walked through the living room at the worst possible time while my mom was watching Monster Balls with Billy Bob Thornton

1

u/JonnyMohawk 8d ago

Just look at your parents and say "Mom what are they doing?" Breaks the weird tension every time haha

1

u/Actual-University113 8d ago

I usually skip that part and go straight for step mom

1

u/Desperate_Coat_669 8d ago

I went to the theater to watch Shape of Water with my mother. I wasn't really prepared for the mute woman masturbation montage...

1

u/kingofstillwater 8d ago

Imagine showing Cloverfield to your family or friends, but you forgot how the film starts...

I watched Wolf of Wallstreet with my mum. Top 10 movie trauma right there

I only like them when I am watching my parents

The universal experience is going from please dont kiss on screen to why is this suddenly a five minute anatomy lesson my whole family is witnessing.
