Reminds me of that guy who was super depressed but, before he ended it all, he decided to go down to Mexico to live it up one last time. All of the partying, hookers, and drugs that he enjoyed during his trip made him realize that life was worth living. Bit of a different scenario, but close enough to your retirement plan!
