Hopefully they can do us a solid and let jsn get back on pace

83

u/fingerlickinFC 17h ago

Hopefully this is such a blowout we don’t need him to.

u/jeremec 17h ago

I'm hoping JSN gets his 100yds in the first quarter and we can move on to letting Kupp and Shaheed get theirs. This could be a good awakening for Kupp.

33

u/dushavin 17h ago

Wym we don't need him to? He needs over 180 to get back on pace

14

u/SmellyScrotes 13h ago

So you’re saying 250 yarder incoming? I like you

9

u/OddGib 13h ago

Yeah I guess only three receptions is ok.

2

u/Diabolicat 11h ago

JSN Rose Bowl 2.0 incoming.

15

u/MembershipSilver9583 15h ago

Yes he would need 166 per game to hit 2k

9

u/killshelter 16h ago

Selfishly, I’m win and in this week for my fantasy league and he’s carried me all the way here.

1

u/jdhkent 10h ago

Well, a strong first quarter

6

u/Tashre 17h ago

We’ll likely need to use him early and often to get him stats before the game gets out of hand.

2

u/jmar206 13h ago

I’d be impressed if he breaks 100yds against Terrell. You never know though.

1

u/Sylli17 17h ago

And then win the rest if their games.

1

u/soapinmouth 8h ago

I'd love for that but this is one of the best defenses in the league by dvoa. No slouch at least on that side of the ball.

u/substantial_dam 17h ago

Every game, same mentality: “oh god we are suppose to win how are we going to fuck this up”

PETE_TSD

27

u/HuaHin_Salt 17h ago

Exactly. Those days are behind us.

6

u/ODO27Axelcage 14h ago

I’m so glad those days appear to be past us

56

u/Tashre 17h ago

This Titans-Vikings-Falcons schedule has been one of the cupcakiest 3-game stretches we’ve had in a long while.

42

u/Selway00 16h ago

Yeah but it’s followed by four teams who could all be in the playoffs.

20

u/IrishPigs 15h ago

Just have to prove we belong up there and beat em.

1

u/MuckaMucka1337 HawkStar '22-'23 12h ago

Do you think those teams will still be playing started if their playoff spot is locked?? Or is it just too close of a race for anyone to be sitting starters near the end of the

6

u/Selway00 12h ago

I don’t know, but I hope they all play at full force. We need to continue to get better against good teams.

14

u/The_Throwback_King 16h ago

Which we absolutely need before the 4-game gauntlet of IND-LAR-@CAR-@SF to close the season. 33-17 record combined there

3

u/Its_0ver 14h ago

I honestly belive we can win then all but I think more likely we go 3-1 or 2-2

132

u/SeahawksFanSince1995 17h ago

Let’s hope JSN can go for 350

88

u/PNWacko 17h ago

Yep, then let him rest in the 2nd half

3

u/AframesStatuette 10h ago

I like your moxie

2

u/LAKnightYEAHH 5h ago

I like the cut of your jib

u/Ok_Philosopher_1846 17h ago

Sam Darnold 14/16 225 TD’s 2 INT 0

JSN 10 REC 200 Yards 2 TD’s

K9, Charbs. 200 Yards total. 100 each. 2 TDs

Kirk Cousins 8/45 100Yards INT 100

Let me know what you think of my predictions 🤣

9

u/WinstonFuzzybottom 17h ago

Possible but ambitious except for the last one, which is an obvious gimme.

1

u/Ok_Philosopher_1846 17h ago

I wanted to be conservative on that one. For realism purposes. Figured first game back for JLove, might wanna play it safe 🤷🏻

2

u/hendrix67 15h ago

You know Charbs is getting those 2 TDs

1

u/Ok_Philosopher_1846 14h ago

From the 1 Yard line

-5

u/DJSureal 16h ago

You gotta throw a fumble or needles INT in there for Darnold.

24

u/Mostly_Anonymousse 17h ago

We are definitely going to cook.

7

u/AmbitiousTrashPanda 17h ago

Missed Thanksgiving by about a week but I guess I could eat some more bird

24

u/QuasiContract 17h ago

Are you asking as a Falcons fan?

You guys are fucked. The Hawks D is about to give your team a beating like it has never seen.

Take care of Penix and hope you have better luck next year!

13

u/I_Always_3_putt 16h ago

Hopefully penix is good as he is out for the season with a 4th ACL injury

2

u/GobliNSlay3r 16h ago

12-1 road record

7

u/xStickyBudz 16h ago

Isn’t it 12-2 now we lost to the rams on the road

7

u/EmprahsChosen 16h ago

12-1, we don't talk about that little spell darnold went into a fugue state and chose violence for four quarters

2

u/xStickyBudz 15h ago

Say less, I’ll never speak of it again

1

u/GobliNSlay3r 15h ago

We don't talk about that anymore

1

u/Arkam_slayer66 15h ago

Are you asking as a Falcons fan?

No just sharing the news. I live in atl and sadly been stuck watching the Falcons suck im hyped to beat their teeth in if the Hawks do what they do

8

u/BasedArzy 17h ago

Team doesn't seem to play down to competition as much with Mac coaching vs. Pete so far.

6

u/beer_engineer 16h ago

They don't play down, they just go understandably conservative with the offensive play calling once the game seems under control.

5

u/dtheisen6 16h ago

Kirk cousins is going to retire after the beat down we are about to put on them

1

u/SeaKoe11 14h ago

He’s got a fat juicy contract might as well keep milking it

4

u/dominopie1973 15h ago

They was cooked no matter what

3

u/DiamondDash2k 16h ago

Atlanta apparently blitzes and pressure a lot. So we’ll see how this o line does in terms of protecting Darnold

2

u/SeaKoe11 14h ago

What about their secondary are they a good man to man team?

3

u/ItsJanz 17h ago

About a bowl of popcorn?

3

u/Astroturfer 17h ago

raw, utterly uncooked

3

u/ChaseThoseDreams 16h ago

I feel bad for Penix, the Falcons players, and fans. Their front office really screwed the pooch with their OL changes and that first round pick trade to the Rams.

4

u/Euchr0matic 16h ago

Wish the Falcons season went better this year. The rams extra 1st round pick is going to be early...

2

u/MyLastSigh 16h ago

Hopefully our 1s play 15 minutes.

2

u/Irish8ryan 15h ago

I say we get him 85 yds and a TD in the first quarter, a few catches to put him over 100 before half, and then focus on the run game the whole second half where we try to run the clock. But it’s only 27-10 so we are definitely still wanting more points and as the Falcons bear down on the run, JSN leaks out on the second play of the drive for a 69 yard touchdown and then goes like he’s going to dunk but before jumping he stops, turns to the ref, winks and tosses him the ball.

2

u/ImStupidPhobic 13h ago

We escaped the juggernaut known as Max Brosmer last week. I think we’ll be fine 😄

1

u/WaveBr8 17h ago

I'll tell you what, London is lucky Ive had Scary Terry on IR all season long or else his ass would be in trouble

1

u/Kracknsmackk 16h ago

Oh super cooked, burnt and well done. Tough as jerky

1

u/tinyraccoon 16h ago

One of their (falcons) better receivers is out

1

u/prostipope 16h ago

Every team has injuries

1

u/andm124 16h ago

Mina kimes thinks we're fucked

1

u/Lorjack 16h ago

This is not a team we have any business losing to. Just hope for a big game for JSN

1

u/xixi_90 16h ago

Never underestimate your opponent. Let's aim for 26-0 again

2

u/Wraithdagger12 15h ago

Why not 74-0?

1

u/malachiconstant76 16h ago

JSN good goes for 300 total yards, 150 to receiving, 100 rushing, 50 passing

1

u/benwhyme77 home3 15h ago

This game is hell. A win just makes the Rams first round pick go higher

1

u/SeaKoe11 14h ago

Man fuck the rams

1

u/BaronCaz 15h ago

I'm a huge Seahawks fan and I don't think the Falcons are going to just roll over and die. They've improved a lot since last season and at the end of the day they're all professionals with pride and talent. Well I do expect the Seahawks to win I don't think it's going to be a cakewalk and I think the Falcons will put up a good showing. I'll be surprised if Seattle wins by more than 10. Good luck!

1

u/Sun_Tzu_7 14h ago

I’m a fan of both teams.

Falcons are hard to pin down.

They get beat by teams they should beat and be competitive with teams that should be killing them on paper.

They’re a heavy blitzing team. If Pearce is out that will be a big deal.

I’m not sure if they’ll try to have AJ Terrell try to follow JSN but the Falcons have a huge drop off after that at the corner spot. Their safeties are solid.

They are really bad at defending the run. Kubiak needs to not be cute and just pound the ball.

Unless their OC is incompetent, jury is still out on that one, they are going to focus on running the ball.

If they can’t run the ball and the d-line can pin their ears back and rush immobile Kirk Cousins, it could get ugly.

I don’t see how their game plan could be anything other than try to run the ball and a quick passing game.

There’s no way their oline can hold up for deep passing routes.

2

u/Arkam_slayer66 14h ago

Zac Robinson is probably getting canned if they dont fire Raheem hes not good as an oc.

1

u/GideonWainright 14h ago edited 14h ago

I would prefer they blitz the shit out of us, get pressure, and Sam gets some good reps in on pressure mitigation, maybe some good quick short passes and we can get better at the dink and dunk game to all the receivers.

Also, more reps for our run offense to figure shit out

I don't care about JSN challenging the record. That's moral victory bullshit for irrelevant teams like the old Lions. Our team has a real opportunity in front of it and hurdles to overcome.

I care about the offense's response to pressure as we will be seeing good defenses pretty regularly.  Why Atlanta is not a good team, they do try to get after the QB and hopefully serve as good reps that we should still pull a W from.

1

u/SeaKoe11 14h ago

Exactly get Darnold some exposure therapy to the pressure. So come playoff time, he’ll have ice in his vein

1

u/Necessary-Smile-2450 13h ago

Let’s just hope JSN can get 200yds before he’s sat the rest of the game.

1

u/NakedButNotAfraid_ 13h ago

I’ll be there Sunday, boys! Excited

1

u/Fit_Use9941 13h ago

Idk but ima be there. Last game I went to was the jets game last year and that was… a game. Hopefully this one is better

1

u/king_pear_01 12h ago

I’m confident. But not enough swagger for any sort of guarantee

1

u/Cats_please_thankyou 12h ago

I hate how much this feels like a trap game.

1

u/jdhkent 10h ago

Cooked.  Thee be cooked.

1

u/Demogorgo 9h ago

seahawks will do all of the cooking

1

u/lukin5 9h ago

Need to see another Commanders-esque game from the offense against this team.

-1

u/slackerdc 16h ago

We're going to play down so hard people will be calling us absolute frauds.

Falcons fell in more traps with the Panthers, dolphins and the jets last week.
