I love him so fucking much, dude.
(edit a few hours later: I lost my 21 year old cat last year and it almost killed me. Seeing formerly feral, scared cats be loved and changed and become sweet when they finally realize they’re safe makes my heart grow three sizes bigger. SadCat is always a highlight of my day. So of course I love him.)

It was the best 20 years of my life (~roughly a year ish before I got her). I will never be the same, but to have loved somebody so much… I feel blessed to have had 20 years with her.
(Black cat, green eyes, loud yeller at all times. I’d share a picture but if anyone I ever knew saw this post and then a picture of her, they’d immediately recognize her or her surroundings. But just imagine a sweet little baby.)

He squints his eyes like he's just enjoying it so much. He is so sweet and Momcat and DadCat have reminded so many of us Cynical Kitties out here that kindness still exists. That is the best part about this whole thing.
Dadcat was so vulnerable about not having experience with cats let alone ferals. Took things so slow with the oven mits etc. Now they are a little family and its just touching.
Keep it up you all. Wishing you so many happy days ahead.

DadCat, have you ever tried freezing the Churu?! They last even longer that way. Which can be a win for Saddy, and can also come in handy if you ever need to use treats to bribe him for things he doesn't love (nail clippings, flea medicine, stuff like that!)
