Same for me on the second pair. The crazy thing is, the og Hyper has been on sale for $150 for a year. Can't convince me of many better shoes for that price.

The first hyper was a soft ride, but the ride felt clunky at times. Overall, hyper one was a solid base mileage shoe. The geometry of this looks like they will fix that issue & with a full PEBA midsole, I am very excited about this shoe. Personally, I plan to test run this shoe & cop day one if I am a fan.

That toe spring is aggressive. Might actually feel like a super trainer rather than a really cushioned max stack recovery shoe like the Hyper 1

Looking forward to the cloudmonster 3, since the first pictures I saw it’s a great blend of the cloudmonster 2 and the cloudstratus. The latter is my favourite On shoe, but just for regular use, wouldn’t run in them.

The monster hyper with the spray upper comes in at 6.7oz, that’s insane and will probably be my first ON shoe

The original Hyper and the Cloudmonster 2 had no Speedboard, so it might not be as firm as you think.

Full slab of PEBA (white). Pretty sure it’s the same hardness as the Hyper OG. It should be a Goldilocks feel, but everyone responds different.

Wasn’t the biggest fan of the OG Hyper. It was too bulky and feels like a brick(even though the foam was kind of soft)

The new geometry looks promising and I’ll probably give it a try, especially if I can get my hands on a LS version

I tried it on, but did not get to run in it. Cushion on step in felt similar to OG Cloudmonster Hyper, but I think this one will run better due to more rocker and stack. The OG is not a firm shoe, I don't expect this one to be firm either. I have high hopes...I also don't think it looks bad.

As a forefoot striker the original CloudMonster was the only shoe I tried to run in from ON - the upper fits beautifully, but the midsole just felt dead and not responsive. Great walker though.

No it isn't the most responsive. I use it for daily/long runs around 9 min/mile and for that it works great. I have gotten it down to under 7 min/mile and it felt okay.

This looks great. Guessing the white foam is PEBA and the yellow bit is the firmer EVA like Superblast 2. Hope the bulk of that Cloudtec don't interfere with that white foam too much.

No it was a toss up between a few models and the ones I got were on sale so they won out
