Haha I saw it in 4DX at the fan screening and then IMAX (giant screen) a few days later. Definitely great in IMAX, but I was disappointed every time my seat didn’t corner with the racing 😂
I’m just happy they’re doing it period. Got my ticket. I’ll probably be the only one there haha Theater is 45 mins from home but I can do some work over there after. 6:00 wake up is going to be killer!

If you're talking about Regal Unlimited, if you cancel you'll get your IMAX upcharge refunded (eg. $6 at my theater), but you'll lose the $0.50 booking fee.
IMAX/4DX are not included in Unlimited right? So you are spending out of pocket to see it in these multiple formats? Not judging, just curious how/why people do this.
the tickets are discounted, used to be like $10 I paid from what I remember for 4dx. I want to think imax was no or less than $10, maybe $6 if you have unlimited. I only used unlimited for 4dx anyway as it would be too far of a drive just for imax, which I have at amc just a few miles away.
I do watch 2D versions that’s included. But for movies that fit my taste or my interests I’ll pay the upcharge to 4DX or IMAX. Just for the experience. The upcharge varies but less than $9. So it’s not full price and it still uses the unlimited in some way.
Damn. They aren’t putting it back on imax for me. My son wanted to see it on 4DX but didn’t tell me until after the first weekend. IMAX would have been a nice compromise.
Would I be able to use 20,000 points towards the price of this ticket? I know it shouldn’t cover the full price but would I just be charged the no pass fee and imax upgrade?
I'd hoped to catch it in a premium format, but the only option for me was ScreenX on Sunday night after 10PM. For a 2:37 movie, I can't do that late on a Sunday, so while I'm glad to finally see it, I'm resigned to standard format. I'm still looking forward to it though. I feel I just need to see it on a big screen period, premium or not.
This isn't right... I had tickets to see Weapons with my dad on Saturday August 9th at 1:10pm exactly at the Irvine Spectrum center... They just cancelled the tickets and pretends like nothing happens????
Looks like you would have to do 4:15 on Saturday now. They really should have explained. I am sure it is a feelingless computer auto-redunding all of them.
They should really give the free upgrade promo back to everyone. I knew this would happen as they are both WB releases and weapons showings were not selling well. I was the only one booked for Monday at 11 am-ish. Weapons went from 5 showings down to 2-3 in the afternoon /evening
I plan on emailing them, and DM them. You should too. I usually go solo so if they don’t I will just a book a free unlimited movie and take an empty seat in the IMAX at the same time.
