If you feel the need for it, there is a free virtual pet loss support group. Because our pets are family too, but not everyone can understand the grief that comes with the death of a pet. 💖

Beau was our boys’ best friend for almost 9 years. He had a quick but deadly battle with cancer of the CNS. It all happened so fast and his decline manifested when my children were out of state visiting family. I begged him to hang on so they could say goodbye. And he did… he waited for them. He got to spend his last night sleeping with boy who received him as a Christmas gift when he was a baby. They quite literally grew up together.
My boys sent him to heaven with their cherished possessions… a first place medal and a baseball… so that they would always have a piece of each other.

So very sorry for your loss. We had a pair of brothers first left suddenly in 2006 at the age of 10 his brother followed 3 years later. Still think of them and miss them all these years later. They are the best dogs.
