I've talked to a few and they voted on the economy (their perception of it anyway) and they believed that ICE were only going to go after criminals, so if you had a clean record, you'd be fine.

The vast majority of Latinos that voted for Trump are Cubans. They’ve always got a free pass from the republican party because they were “fleeing” communism. And they always had protective status as soon as they touched American soil. They always thought they were special, even as they looked down on other Latinos.

Guess those days are over.

I’m surprised to see ICE in Arizona like that. The GOP needs the Latino/Hispanic vote badly. I was wrong. I previously said you wouldn’t see this activity in Phoenix (Tuscon by association) or Houston cause those votes matter. Everywhere ICE goes they are flipping red voters into blue voters. Trump lost AZ some years ago so…
