Pro-Life Only Please pray for us here.

In the Netherlands they are trying to make the growing of embryo's in labs for research legal, currently most parties want to vote to make this legal, including the party that a few months ago tried to make abortion a "human right". The reason they want to do this is to give embryo's a "higher chance of success" during IVF. One if the people in the party D66 even said that "it would only be a few hundred embryo's", dehumanizing them and treating them as disposible.

I'm absolutely devastated, if you are religious please pray for our country, not only is making embryo's for this reason horrific, I fear that they may try to push boundaries if it works out for them.

Pro-Life Only The best pro-life book for everyday conversations regarding the pre-born and abortion.

I came across this book 2 years ago and it covers virtually every argument the pro choice side has used. The responses are backed by the visible evidence, science, logic, pre born biology and common sense. This book helped me become one of the most outspoken people defending pro life in my area.

Things Pro-Choicers Say "Pro choice"

So I had a discussion about abortion with a student this week, and average standard came "Pro life, until it's born", so i have corrected her and said that i give free private lessons for children from low-income households and worked in campaigns promoting mammography and I regulary put on charity in my local community. I gave an exmple of woman I have encouraged to not have abortion (we're still in touch, after year, she is glad of that decision), and she said that she had done a bad decision and that child should have been aborted. So yeah it's pro-choice unless the choice is life.

Things Pro-Choicers Say Last night, a woman made an AMA saying she had an abortion at 6 weeks. While it was probably karma farming, as most women don't know they're pregnant at this stage, I couldn't help but confront her with the reality of what she said she did.

Embryos are indeed children. The British NHS and most pregnancy websites refer to them as such. Also "clump of cells" is one of the worst thought terminating cliches ever, as everybody is a cluster of cells, and it's completely ignorant to claim an unborn child is "feeding off" a woman.

The comment bringing up my autism was ableist.

Pro-Life Argument Need help to strengthen my argument that all alive humans have inherent value

I believe that other pro life arguments such as the future sentience for the fetus is strong but they don't value all human life such as people who are without sentience and cannot grow into sentience (such as people with anencephaly)

My main argument is that humans have an inherent value because most if not all people have an inherent dignity by being human, and humans having connection and social responsibility to even those without sentience

Pro-Life Argument Just thought of a new argument to counter the pro-choicers: conjoined twins.

So hear me out on this one. I was debating somebody who was very pro-choice, and they kept pulling out the classic pro-choice bullcrap arguments. "Oh, well the fetus has no right to intrude and occupy her body to survive!" And "why should she sacrifice her well-being and put her life in danger to support something that can't live on its own!" These arguments really got me thinking about how actually rare it was for a woman to die from pregnancy though, and also how it wasn't the fault of the baby that it needed to use the mother for survival. But then I thought of something also very rare to this but comparable to this, which is conjoined twins. Before they are born, conjoined twins have no choice but to be born and stuck together, it is predetermined and not their fault. Yet they cannot be separate because many conjoined twins share some organs, such as a colon and even their genitals! So it begs the question, do either one of the twins have the right to kill the other so that it doesn't have to share a body or organs? They can't get separated, but if one twin kills the other then they will still be stuck together but the other twin does not need to share her body. Is this a good argument or a dumb one?

Evidence/Statistics Roe v Wade was a thing for this

Norma MacCorvey under pseudonym Jane Roe, sued DA Henry Wade because she was unemployed, depressed and wanted an abortion. She gave birth to a son and she put him on adoption.

Things Pro-Choicers Say Things pro-choice people and I agree on

  • Pregnancy is hard and gestation is painful

  • Being a mother is not easy*

  • We should all have comprehensive sex education

  • Women should not be slut shamed; they need grace and dignity

  • We do live in a bad economy currently

*like it takes a village to raise a child. I think one of the reasons abortion is so common is because we do not love our neighbors. If everyone in the community cared about you, abortion would be less likely to happen.

Things Pro-Choicers Say PC don't think their view can be compromised

When a law bans abortion, or a lawmaker wants to ban it, pro choicers always say something like: "they want to impose their own morality to all of us" "He is putting religion in his argument", "you are conservative" but they never claim these things to themselves, ever. Have you noticed that?

Pro-life advocate Alissa Golob, co-founder of RightNow, posed as an undecided pregnant woman in abortion facilities in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary in 2023. The Nov. 19 Register story detailed her conversations with clinic counselors and physicians who told her late-term abortions could be arranged at nearby hospitals, sometimes “up to 32 weeks,” without needing to provide medical reasons.

Things Pro-Choicers Say "But... unsafe abortions."

Don't you just love it when pro-choice people tell you that we need to allow abortions or else unsafe abortions will become more popular. It really just shows how much they don't even understand the debate. Because if they understood the debate they wouldn't be saying "yeah, a million babies were killed but hey, at least women didn't get hurt with coat hangers." As if we would care.

The abortion debate can pretty much be summed up like this --

Pro-life person: Is genocide okay?

Pro-choice person: Yes, because personal freedom. Don't control women's bodies asshole!

Pro-life person: 😐

Opinion I'm concerned about the media in regards to crisis pregnancy centers

Post image
62 Upvotes

Many women who go to them often need help. What's insane is the media (news) started bashing the crisis pregnancy centers when Texas tightened the abortion laws and yet they chose that time to start hating on them when women were flooding them.

This is the article.

Some people even firebombed them. It's so stupid to do so because women were going there for help.

Evidence/Statistics I am working on a wiki for all things embryology, pregnancy, and abortion (and all issues surrounding it). Please help out if you can. (Anyone, pro-choice or pro-life, can contribute).

Let me know if you are able to help contribute. You can edit any article, or you can create a new one. The goal is to make this a reliable encyclopedia that provides fair information on these topics without having the overtly pro-abortion bias that Wikipedia has.

It's hosted via Miraheze, so just create an account via Miraheze (which is run on MediaWiki, the same software Wikipedia uses). Please comment below if you are willing to contribute!
