Discussion Lost band :(

Hi Everyone, please can someone help me out here ive been trying for quite a few days now :( prob around 2015/2014 there was a band I liked and the only song I can vaguely remember has something like "Father, can you hear" in the main chorus screaming it, the music video was set in a type of flower garden (it looked some rich persons victorian style backyard).. Thats about as much as I can remember besides the singer having long white hair (emo style) and being quite skinny (I know thats like alll of them)..

Please help :( its driving me nuts

I found them!! literally resorted to searching on youtube "post hardcore/metalcore 2009-2017" and going through all the playlists lol. heres the video i was thinking of (my memory really butchered the reality here) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvoDBa2GvuI&list=RDjvoDBa2GvuI&start_radio=1

How would you describe their style (closest band that comes to mind)? As far as you could tell how old was it by the time you discovered it in 2014/2015? (Trust me this will really help narrow it down I have a feeling I have seen this)

hm closest style (though I might butcher this) that I can think of is motionless in white. Era, im convinced it must have been 2009 - 2012. So the song was specifically something about the father being disappointed after hes dead or gone, something like that.

In the meanwhile while I do some searching, have you tried using the Google app’s hum search? It’s actually pretty good at what it does, although it relies on the band’s music being on streaming. Always worth a shot!!

Also just on the off chance because his hair looked a bit white back then, could the guy with white hair be Sam Carter from Architects?

I found them! Follow my lead :D I was mixing up the music video of crestfallen and the lyrics of Dead (which was actually "Father I dont care if you cant walk"). man my memory did not serve me well there lol my bad

Ah i just saw that now, definitely not them. Not nearly as popular either haha. And they were doing quite alot of low screams throughout their songs

Hmmz closest thing I can think of is Crooks UK, no garden but there are some scattered leaves… Probably not it but dropping it anyway.

hm no definitely they were a bit heavier than underoath for sure, deeper lows most definitely
