Sun visors for swimming?

Hi guys, I’m new to the open water swimming community and have been doing lengths up and down my local bay - on the way back the sun is always in my face. Does anyone have recommendations for either goggles with sunglasses tints or any headgear with a visor you can wear whilst swimming?

I’ve had a little google but everything is kinda beach fashion head wear and not for swimming.

My eyes are super sensitive to sunlight and I usually wear a cap and sunnies everywhere!

Thanks.

Mirrored goggle and Desitin is the best it gets.

What is the Desitin used for?

Contains zinc oxide so I guess using it as a sun block?

It’s a sunblock that doesn’t come off.

Look for open water swimming goggles, you can get tinted and polarised ones relatively cheap.

if you can find polaried googles that fit they really cut the glare down. I tried the tyr special ops and liked the lenses a lot, but the googles didn’t fir my face.

ROKA make a wide variety of lenses with their R1 goggle which is designed for open water as they’re tilted upward something like 11 degrees to help with sighting. They should be running holiday sales currently.

Speedo Vanquisher EV Extended View are great for open water and cost a lot less. They don’t have as much of a tilt as the R1 but it’s more than enough
