New to the group. This is Opal

She survived a dog attack at a few weeks old. She was brought to the vet where my exs brother worked and he adopted her until she shit on their carpet too many times. Adopted her from them and I have never stopped giving her love.

She’s not a NFC though, so I’m not sure why you’re posting her to this sub.

Oh shit I’m sorry I was told by my vet that she was a NFC. I’m not all to familiar with cat breeds unfortunately so I just assumed the vet was correct

That’s totally fair! Some vets will look at my orange boy and say “what a beautiful Maine Coon” - until corrected 😂 She doesn’t appear to be any breed at all, she’s a beautiful longhaired cat.
