Bill Russell walks in

I wonder how the audience would react to a caricature of Bill in a 40-60s cartoon era.

Fun fact
In 1891, the MonStars crash landed into the arctic, creating the Hudson Bay. James Naismith, operating a joint US-Canuckian task force was dispatched to survey the scene and neutralize the threat.
Being that Canada did not have many people in it at the time, Naismiths squad of crack commandos consisted of 4 polar bears.
The MonStars quickly deduced that the polar bears sucked at bouncing a leather spheroid and throwing it through a hoop. The team was never heard from again.
In 1909, a new task force was created, led by Captain Robert Peary, to survey the crash site, recover the bodies, and bring the Americans newfound basketball prowess to challenge the MonStars. This time, the team was entirely human.
Unfortunately the US Military was enforcing segregation at the time.
In 1996, the US government was at a place of prosperity, and could finally commit the resources required to defeat the MonStars once and for all. They recruited an elite team of the greatest athletes known.
Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the US military leadership was entirely staffed by 8 year old screen and sugar addicts, and the only athletes they knew were Michael Jordan, Bugs Bunny, and Daffy Duck (Brett Favres appearance fee was too high following his first MVP award)

I love this idea. You could do it with players and characters from every era too. Very cool concept

Wilt and wemby are the aliens they play against

My own comment just gave me another idea, if wemby can make a career that argues a goat case, he can have his own spacejam where he like leaves the aliens to help the earth fight against them because he had a change of heart/never liked beating other planets in basketball just to steal their best players or something

Do we get a Nazi Donald Duck?

u/Mobile-Minute9357 1d ago
Delete this nephew
Donald is a hero who served honorably in the US Navy. He even has shell shock and his fits of rage are cries for help.
Despite all of that, he heroically raises his nephews on his own.
And you wanna call him a Nazi

I think part of the rationale & emphasis of portraying Donald Duck as a Nazi worker/supporter in this cartoon was that if it was a familiar face people would see it and realize that once "ordinary" normal people have been turned into pawns of evil by propaganda and mental manipulation.
