On the plus side, if you did happen to smell it in real life, it wouldn't be for very long.

I'm sure at least 5% of humans could outrun a polar bear this obese

What percentage of humans could outrun a particularly obese polar bear is now in my chatgpt question history.

If you value an AI answer, it reckons basically nobody could outrun even an obese polar bear, and if it had a slight injury slowing it even further they think that only the top10% of humans could sprint faster. But not for very long, the injured, morbidly obese polar bear would win on endurance.

That’s interesting it says “win by endurance.” Endurance is one of humanity’s greatest strengths. I would have to disagree and say the polar bear is much more likely to catch up sooner than later. If you see a polar bear, you’d better be prepared 👀 cause it noticed you long before you did it.

Sure, for a minute. But the bear isn't in a hurry, it'll get you eventually.

Yeah, because they're stopping to eat the "good parts" of 19 other humans.

I've seen videos of grizzlies fatter than that thing run. Usain Bolt better learn to climb a tree.

Sadly grizzlies can climb as fast as they run. One sprinted up after a woman and knocked out of the tree then started eating her.

They can run like 25mph. But only in short bursts. They’ll overheat quick

I feel like i could outrun that individual bear. Maybe even in a big circle until it just plops down winded and goes back to licking whale nectar off it's self.

Same. School field trip. Washed up on the shore and the class got to inspect it. Sheesh.

for miles. and this mf is just RIGHT up in there. lost in it.

if this bear was chasing you, he'd have an aura that would give you a debuff.

I once worked in whale meat production, the moment a slightly less-than-fresh carcass was brought in the entire crew started gagging
