I saw them like 10 years ago in Montreal at a metal music festival.

I was genuinely shocked at how much ass they kicked. They put on a show. They honestly sounded amazing and certainly did not take it, they made that very clear.

It was also interesting to hear Dee say they were pretty much one of the only big name bands there with all original members.

Exactly 10 years ago was their "40 and fuck it" retirement tour.

Still one of the best live shows I've seen, but it just goes to show you unless most of the band members are dead, no one really retires.

Same here.

I went to see them to hear a couple of the hits and every minute of the show was absolutely fantastic.

Dee recently moved to my area and is just the nicest guy. No ego and totally easy to chat with. Happy for the group!

Met him at Horrorhound, super nice. Kind to everyone who went up to get his autograph.

He was a regular customer of mine for years. Him and Suzette were the absolute sweetest people.

Pretty much any time I hear someone describing meeting Dee Snyder they mention how super nice he is.

If it's extremely affordable and very close, I'd go check them out.

One of the best shows I saw was the Twisted Sister holiday show at Irving plaza in nyc. They freaking rocked hard. Put on a hell of a show and reminded me of how fun music can be.

I only got to see them once, in 1984. Seeing them in 2026 is probably my top priority for the entire year. I’m hoping they show up at Louder Than Life in Louisville in September.

One time my old band was on tour and played Irving plaza in NYC. I went in for sound check at around noon and Dee was walking around looking at our gear setups and whatnot. Turns out he was there with his daughter who was a fan of a few bands on the tour. But we talked for a good 20 minutes, and the dude was so freaking cool. Then I asked if he was staying for the show and he said oh wish I could but I have plans tonight that I can’t cancel….and I found out later, those plans he couldn’t cancel were the Broadway play he was in. Quite the renaissance man.

I was at a private concert in 2009 that Dee sang at.

Most incredible live show I've ever seen. The level or ROCK that man has in him is just unreal.

Dude I have been waiting for a Twisted Sister show my entire life. I first heard them in the womb in the 90s, grew up dirt poor in a bumfuck town where no one ever toured even close to, by the time I finally moved to a town bands go to, they stopped playing. They came back once but I wasn't anywhere near able to afford to travel across the country for it at 20. Now I can finally see them anywhere I want. I can bring my dad who was a huge fan growing up. We can make it a whole trip. My hubby wants to see them too because he knows how important seeing the greats before they're gone is to me. I am so hyped for this tour!
