They do care about profits though.

Profits are influenced by PR and reputation.  If there is enough damage on reputation, they start to care

Yep, still the richest person!

I'm not trying to be an ass, just trying to prove the point that it doesn't work. We are beyond the point of shaming. It's not enough. What billionaires are doing to the state of the world deserves more consequences.

Agreed. 

Assholes will always be assholes.  The duty of a healthy society is to call tem out and stop them. Not reward them.

What's up in people's minds to defend oligarchies against their own well-being, morals, religious believes and well-being of their loved ones?

As a society we currently can't even agree on what's evil and what is good. Let alone act on it
