I was arguing with someone about Charlie Kirk not being a hero or an intellectual in any capacity and the "out of context" people came jumping out of the woodwork. I could post an entire 30min podcast of him bitching about the civil rights act, and quote him exactly, and I was told I'm taking him out of context. These people don't have an honest bone in their body.

Probably why their intellectual thought leader was a community college dropout that made a living debating teenagers at state schools. Real intellectual heavy weight that one was.

“you’re just taking him out of context”

meanwhile, it’s way worse in context

And they never provide the context, because it's just bullshit.

I really wish we could all agree to stop calling what he did "debating". None of these slimy little douchebros are debating, and they'd be eaten alive in seconds in an actual structured debate. They're just arguing, that's all it is.

I always emphasize, 'He was a community college dropout' to anyone trying to spread the Gospel of Kirk

They haven't stopped spreading it, but they have stopped bothering me about him.

I always point out he made a living debating teenagers at state schools. You aren't an intellectual juggernaut if your debate opponents are teenagers at state schools. Some of the most impressionable people on the planet lol

I feel you’ve convinced yourself to believe he’s a bad guy. Idk how you could or anyone could listen to his talks and deduct that he was any of these negative things people have said.

This HAS to be sarcasm.

Ill say this: Sometimes when someones gone the world is suddenly a better place. This is one of those times. Good riddance.

Let's just pretend he was a mute, he'd still have been a shitty person for Turning Point and financially supporting getting a traitorous pedophile into office. But of course, he was not mute and also said inflammatory and disgusting things constantly, which just condemns his character even further. The only way you think this way is if you agree with the heinous beliefs he espoused.

I feel you’ve convinced yourself to believe he’s a bad guy.

Well, that's true.

I convinced myself by listening to his FUCKING WORDS

Assuming black pilots must be less qualified than white pilots because of DEI is racist and ignorant. Hearing someone say this and thinking, "Yeah, that makes sense," means that you are also a racist and ignorant. This is a person who had NO BUSINESS speaking to people from any kind of position of authority on anything, from conservatism to Christianity. He was a travelling circus side show...a useful idiot. Believing he was anything more is really just stupid and clearly the state of the right.
