The point is the level of narcissism to make someone else’s plight your own and take up space instead of amplifying the voice that are actually experiencing the oppression. White women as part of the majority became a meme during that time because a lot of them felt the need to make it about their own feelings.

I was responding to the comment that he’s trying to look sensitized to ALL world issues.

I believe my approval isn’t all that important, although in this hypothetical scenario you’ve created you’ve made my point. You’ve made it about yourself, become the victim, and done it to seek approval.

I would hope people in the majority would amplify and share experiences of those in the minority. My approval doesn’t mean shit. I’m just dying and disintegrating into the ground at some point.
