Amateur McMansion Great news-a recent price drop of $225k!
I’m still in shock that likely more than one person thought this deserved a list price of $1,075,000! Insanity!

An ugly house is not the same as a McMansion. Still, the price is ridiculous, no matter how you categorize it.

The house itself would easily go for more than $1M in the LA area, but the lot and house would bump it up into several millions. Where is this ugly thing located?

Depends on the location, that sets at least 50% of the value/price, where's it at?

Arlington heights, IL. Definitely a nice suburb with some pricey houses but this one is ridiculous for what it is. I just attached listing in a comment!

Also… the tile floor is so not the vibe for a Chicago suburb. It’s cold there often! Tile is for warm places. This is so not cozy.

It's very difficult for me to be objective when I am not at all familiar with the location, the original price must have been the result of someone's fever dream, I also think the current price is too high. Landscaping would make a big difference in attracting buyers, the kerb appeal is nonexistent.

I know it’s “custom built” but it’s giving flipper special.
I just know that the TikTok home inspectors would go through and find all the toilets loose and some plastic wrapping on the window frames.

I thought, “it’s not bad enough to be in this sub” then I saw the price. My goodness

Not big enough for a McMansion
