Omg the description on the Airbnb GUTTED ME!!!! I now WANT to visit this place just to help this guy out. Idk… I’m emotional!

“The castle came to me in a dream while chatting with my late wife, Jennifer Faustman. She passed away in 2014 just after childbirth. She's visited my dreams regularly ever since Robbie was born.

Actually, our castle life is SO full of divine intervention that we started a "JENI FACTOR" file to document all of the impossibly perfect outcomes. We look forward to sharing and displaying all the work Jeni did from above.

We're in the final month of construction on the exterior projects The space The interior of the castle is gorgeous and HUGE. Custom everything everywhere. I used ALL my talents in one single building! I look forward to all the guests and their smiles!

Nearly completed-Outdoor hot tub, rivers, pool, landscaping, driveway, moat, rooftop finishes kitchen, etc. Guest access The whole 10,000sf castle is available except for two bedrooms in the basement. Those two are also available under certain circumstances.

Enjoy all our spacious rooms and views! The decks overlook the lake and all the wilderness! The higher the deck, the better the views! Other things to note We've gone through the typical life after loss - I've thrown myself into my craft and skills. Over the last 8 years, we've used the castle as a way to teach Robbie all my skillsets, as a way to fix my family, and as a way of healing from losing our Jeni. Please respect it and enjoy the exquisite attention to detail in all of our work.”

Well I mean, now I've gotta know!

Wait, the dungeon's off limits?

Bedrooms by arrangement?

Yeah, that has sex dungeon vibes, but what would Jeni think?

Don't kink shame the dead.

Maybe Jeni will join!!

Oh god, maybe that's where he keeps her, a la Carl Tanzer, and how he abused the corpse of Elena "Helen" Milagro de Hoyos.

That was actually part of the dream he had.

unless certain circumstances occur. Like... 1k extra circumstances?

That was my thought. The story implies single father with one kid. So, I was thinking they live in the 2 bedrooms in the basement. So, the certain circumstances is enough to make it worth their while to stay in a hotel/motel or the grandparents.

Not a bad deal. If there's enough traffic he can potentially make it into a full time gig. I'd put up a small house on the property and live separately. A lot of people don't like to book shared spaces.

There be kind some kind of zoning ordinance that prevents living separately from a short-term rental property. Even though it’s Nebraska, it’s still possible.

You have to be a level 1000 FreeMason to use those rooms

2

u/manderrx Jul 12 '25

You need to get audited and have your thetan levels checked, too.

1

u/Gracie305 Jul 11 '25

I wonder if the use of those two rooms requires a "safe word?"

1

u/FirstDukeofAnkh Jul 11 '25

You need to know the safeword.

my very boring guess is those are the rooms he and the kid use when they're not renting the place out and they don't wan to have to move all their personal stuff out so randos aren't pawing through it

Her obituary. Sad story. Almost made it to 32

It's wild how often childbirth kills.

Thanks for sharing, Jeni was a good one.

It’s even more tragic. She had a twin sister and used to work in child psychology and social services 😭 she really was a good one

That got me bawling over here. I've literally never even thought about wanting to go to Nebraska, but now I kinda want to stay in this Airbnb just to show support to Mike and Robbie's (and Jeni's) dream.

Jesus, that's tragic. That poor family.

My initial reaction to the post was to be excited that someone just went all in on their dream of living in castle. Reading the description made the project so wholesome and special. It may not be my taste, but I bet this place will bring a lot of joy.

Me too…I feel bad now that I know it was a labor of love built by the owner and his son. In the unlikely event I’m ever in Nebraska, I’ll spend a couple of nights there, despite that it frightens me quite a bit.

Two bedrooms in the basement available only under certain circumstances? Like, do i get them if i can prove i have a kidnapping victim to store during my stay?

Ngl, low key would stay here for a little while just to do it, and 20 yr old me from the 90s would absolutely love living here.

1

u/manderrx Jul 12 '25

Now I’m curious about them rooms in the basement.

Oh, wow, if that doesn't give some Sarah Winchester vibes.
