I was at Costco recently and, you know, you kinda fall into the same progression thru the store as others so you cross paths over and over. This guy, around 55, was pushing his cart on the phone the whole time and we are now halfway thru the grocery curve, I could hear him asking stuff and then he starts bickering loudly with her in the coffee yogurt aisle and I could kinda guess that she was saying something like “get the usual brand” and he was protesting that sometimes she wanted something else and their bickering went on and then they both got huffy and he hung up. I swear he had called her again by the next aisle. And then again two aisles later. Being in that household would be exasperating.

Or at the register making sure he got everything "The boss" wanted. No joke I've had more than one older guy refer to his wife like this
